Wow... I was finally able to get past the bridge part in Before I Forget on Expert, and I end up failing it at 96%!!! The worst part is, if I didn't miss a star power phase, I could've beaten it. Now I can't get past the bridge again.

Wait until you see Raining Blood. I got the "Blowin' It" and "Almost There" achievements on Before I Forget, but RB was much harder.

I'm trying to get through Set 7 on Expert, and the Galloping Triplets on Knights of Cydonia are killing me. I just have a really hard time hitting the o/r/g triplets, and it throws off my timing on the easier ones. I also have a hard time strumming fast enough to keep up with the fast note sequences at the beginning of the song. I can get through it all with a green rock meter, but I'm not building up combo's either.

I haven't really tried Before I Forget or 3's and 7's yet.

Any advice?

That's the same place where I'm stuck also. The only song I've beaten on that tier is Stricken. At least I can get past the beginning of the song on Before I Forget and Knights of Cydonia, but I can't do all the 3 button chords on 3's and 7's and since there is no real beat for strumming since it changes so much, I always fail near the start.

Same for me. I also beat Stricken. I've basically come to the conclusion that it's impossible to do the last two tiers without completely mastering the three button chords. I'm getting better, but they're basically nonexistant on Hard.

I beat Stricken and Kinights of Cydonia on Expert, but Before I Forget and 3's and 7's are killing me. The 3-button chords kill me on 3's and 7's, and the bridge kills me on Before I Forget. And just knowing that Raining Blood awaits next tier doesn't make me feel any better.

UK, March 18, 2008 - It's been rumoured before, but following comments from a Sony Music Publishing executive it looks as if there's a genuine possibility that Activision and Sony may come together to produce a Beatles tinged version of Guitar Hero.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Martin N. Bandier of Sony/ATV – the company who owns the copyrights to the Beatles back catalogue – admitted that, "It's something we have talked about and would like to pursue." Previously the use and distribution of Beatles songs has been famously guarded, with no presence online on iTunes or other download services, but this has recently relaxed suggesting that a Guitar Hero Beatles Pack is a very real possibility.

Activision has already announced an Aerosmith themed Guitar Hero, to be released this coming June.

Definitely, but are there really a lot of great Aerosmith guitar songs? I don't notice the guitar parts in their songs as much. I think someone might have said this earlier, but it seems like Aerosmith would be more suited to Rockband than Guitar Hero. Led Zeppelin or AC/DC would be a better GH fit. I would love to see either of them in a GH game, but I'm sure both are longshots.

I dunno if that would really work. Metall doesn't strike me as the ideal GH style... seems very chord-progression like.

I second that, give me some Protest The Hero, The Human Abstract, Parkway Drive and All That Remains and I'm a happy kid.
