    Re: Fallout 3

Well I finally got some fun out of it.

Bloody Mess + Finesse + Action girl + Better criticals + Grim Reapers Sprint + Sledgehammer = fun. The best part was in the saloon, one of the body parts flew into the toilet. Of course I couldn't save so I'd get to do it again.

Exactly. Someone needs to mind there own business.
I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

What are the side effect to too much radiation? Any point in spending money on radiation suits?

I just don't understand why someone buys a game they aren't even sure they want to play, take it home and let it sit for awhile before even playing it.

There are plenty of reasons, but I dont have the time nor the will to explain it...

Lets get this thread back on topic.

                    Re: Fallout 3

Ok, so I rented this to see if it'll be worth purchasing in the future.

Since I don't have a manual it took me forever to realize that caps are money. Had some chances to take caps from places and let it go thinking it was just bottle caps - who gives a crap? Apparently, people in 2077 do.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with Rads?

I see people talking about being stronger because of Rads, but then I see people talking about how bad it can be to have too much. I'm around 20, but that's because I had no choice but to drink dirty water to survive in the super-mart.

Also, it took me nearly dying to finally understand AP. I spent a good amount of fight trying to figure out why I couldn't attack some more, and I thought the developers just forced a block out to prevent cheesing with VAT. But now I get it and that changes everything.

Anyway, rads/radiation. What the hell is up with this?

Also, I have to say, unless I haven't figured out how to do this yet, that I'm disappointed there is no cover system.

I feel like I'm sort of left out in the open when I'm in a gun battle with a raider.

True there's no real stick to it cover system, but having cover definitely helps against a lot of human enemies. Fire in vats, hide behind cover, pop out and fire in vats, and repeat. Some humans and most animals/monsters charge, so a cover system wouldn't help there anyways.

                        Rads:

                        600: -3 EN, -2 AG, -1 ST
                        800: -3 EN, -2 AG, -2 ST

                          "RADS"

"Shows your current level of Radiation Resistance and how and how many total Rads of damage your character has taken. If you have Radaway in your inventory press X to use it to flush Rads out of your system. If you have Rad-X, you can press Square to increase your characters Rad resistance for a period of time.

                          200 rads= -1EN
                          400 rads= -2 EN, -AG
                          600 rads -3 EN, -2AG, -ST
                          800 rads -3EN,-2AG,-2ST
                          1000rads DEATH!

Edit:Cause I'm bored..From the manual..You can be exposed to radiation either directly from the enviroment, or by in ingesting irradiated food and water. A small amount of radiation will not hurt you, but as your accumulated exposure goes up, you will begin to suffer ill effects (Including death eventually)

Since I'd rather just keep reloading and massacre everyone (rental due back wensday) I looked up the endings. Far as I remember at first they said there'd be 50 then 100 and later 300. It seems there's 296 of them missing. So what's with that?

I had an idea for others...
