Interview with a developer on Major Nelson's podcast confirms no Spies vs Mercs multiplayer.

BS! If that's true then I'm not sure I get this straight away. May wait for the price to drop.

This game just became a rental for me.

This game gonna have split screen co-op like Chaos Theory had? I remember when the last game came out, IGN said in the review there was split screen but there wasn't. Lol...then I went to gamefaqs forum to see what was up and everyone was like "wtf there's no split screen.."

me too. The co-op and the gameplay itself is looking ferocious. Can't wait.

On a side note, they should make a strictly multiplayer only spies vs mercs game ala Chaos theory.

Hving no Spies Vs. Mercs is a travesty IMO. I can't begin to tell you how much i played Chaos Theory and Pandora online back in the day. Me and a friend played that literally every night until the 360 came out.

Regardless, I'm still getting this game.
