So, finally, onto the review score. Despite Halo 3 being more combat evolved than combat revolutionised, Halo 3 deserves a 10 because it's the most complete FPS experience ever released. We can sum up why Halo is great with one, simple anecdote. You may have read last week on the site that we managed to snag a retail copy of the game from Argos. It sparked something I've never experienced before in gaming. A flood of instant messages, emails and texts followed. I got calls from friends and family asking to come over and play the game. And when they did, when that unmistakable music kicked in, when the Bungie logo flashed across the HD LCD, I could feel the excitement in the air like the after effects of a destroyed fusion coil. I can't remember the last time having a game in my possession before official release did that.

Halo 3 transcends video games. It is a global entertainment experience. Just as Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and Spiderman 3 brought to a close two of the most lucrative and epic film trilogies of all time, Halo 3 brings to a close perhaps the most complete, engaging and downright fun video game trilogy of all time. There is absolutely no way any Halo fan will be disappointed by this game. You better believe the Chief has triumphantly returned. Now buy the game, **** the Assault Rifle, and finish the fight.

I have 2 questions:

1) I pre-ordered the legendary at my local mall's EB games, but that eb games closed down since there was already a gamestop there, so would I be able to get it from gamestop?

2) Since I pre-ordered it and assuming I can get it from gamestop will it be guarenteed for me tuesday and wednesday?

Man i can't believe we are two days away, to think that we could've had H3 and GTA. Can't wait to get my hands on this game, we will be playing this for many year's to come.

Forge Tips and Tricks

I think these two gametypes sound fun.

• TerraSnipe: Played on SandTrap. Using three territories, suspend four crates high in the air at the four corners of the map. Each team’s spawn area has a teleporter that takes them to a hub of teleporters that can reach any of the crates. All teams have a shield generator at there spawn area. Players start with sniper/pistol. Players located on a crate that they already control receive substantial damage resistance.

• Anti Hill: Teams lose point for any players in the hill and gain points for any player outside the hill. Most respawn points are in the hill. The fun twist is that players in the hill have no shields and if you kill them you are doing them a favor. This also encourages betrayals since you want to kill your own teammates who are in the hill in the hope that they will re-spawn somewhere else.

The whole Forge Element just puts a whole new gameplay aspect to Halo 3 IMO. Just the possibilities that you can have with it is unbelievable. Like low gravity soccer with Gravity Hammers. That would be sweet...lol.

Well so much for the costume....didn't turn out as I planned. It was rushed and it looks trashy. The helmet and eye relay looks good but the pads and body armor does not. O Well, it was worth a shot.
