If I had updated my screwed up Wii to 3.1, then does the new one have to be at 3.1? This **** has to happen the day Mario releases........the game plays fine, but there are weird lines on the screen + the game doesn't look like 480p is fully kicking in which has to be the GPU like EG said.

It really isn't, was hoping to get a jump start now until the new system arrives later in the week or next.

Bacardi, didn't your system die and you had to have "N" send you another one? How long did it take to arrive after you initiated the call? They told me that brand new systems are sent out, is this true?

I called on the sunday it was released ( at night), and tuesday morning i had my new system.

Granted, it was at release, so nintendo wanted to make sure that they dont get bad press by screwing up, but they are pretty damn good on getting you a new system if necessary. I would say they average about a week, maybe less?

Thanks Bacardi, that sounds good if its less than a week. If it weren't for Mario, it would be a different story.

I went by the local TRU and they had about, no lie, 50 copies of SMG sitting in the case, but he wouldn't sell me one because he said they were all preorders. Loser

Do you even have a Wii?

                Wait, that's a dumb question.

Do you have a Nintendo Wii? (better question )

                  No

I'm getting one soon though. Figured I might as well get a free $25 for accessories or a game for it once I find one.

I pre-ordered mine and got a $25 gift card and a limited edition Mario coin, I wonder if I can sell the coin on ebay.

You can sell anything on ebay.

OT: I found a 20% off any single item coupon at CAG for Kmart and I went there on my lunch break hoping to find a Wii. Gheez, that place is scary. I felt dirty just walking in there.

All the Kmarts in my area closed a few years back, I remember going there as a kid and hoping nobody saw me there buying my toughskin jeans. Do they still have the flashing blue light?

LOL, I haven't been in one in years. Last time, I felt the same as you. Walked out, and felt all dirty.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

How and where do you save your progress? I know when I get tired of playing and quit I can save, but what about in the middle of a galaxy? It seems like you have to go back and replay an area from the beginning if you quit in the middle of it.
