Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
Splicers....creepy as ever.
this game cries out to be played on a big screen at night or with the lights down.
My wife actually came into the room and sat down to watch; totally creeped out by the 60's theme.
So far a great experience. Can't say too much more without spoiling it. Game moves fast and smooth on the 360.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
I caved in a got Gamecrazy to match CC's price of $50 bones. I one of the older gamers on here and my 14 year old son said dad this game is not for you . You are wasting money. Boy was he wrong!!. Now this is where it gets crazy, my 4 year old son comes in the room and starts telling me what to do, of course I sent him out of the room but thought it was funny that he was giving me advice on the game. This game is hot. Don't know if this has been mentioned but when you di the game does not play the same when restarted thought that was pretty neat. Fellows cop this game. Sucks. I have this game sitting in GameStop but can't pick it up because I'm on set from 7/8 AM every day until about 9 PM. So, I won't be able to play this game until maybe Saturday."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
I played the demo on the 360, but I bought this game on the PC. The PC version is alot better for aiming with a mouse. It also looks cleaner.
So far I am loving the game. The splicers fussing and chasing each other around is funny. I can see already hacking the bots and turrets is gonna be my #1 agenda running through this crazy place. They have done a A1 job on the creepy atmosphere. The best I have seen since Doom3.
If you on the fence about the game its well worth getting this. Good change of pace from all the football I have been playing lately.Comment

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
Splicing turrets might be the most fun thing I've ever done in a shooter type game. I generally do not like FPS, but this game is brilliant. Best of all, 2 hours and no motion sickness for me (most FPS cause me to have motion sickness.)Comment

After all the praise the game has gotten it's getting tougher to find. I'm going to Walmart and have them price match CC.Comment

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
Saw plenty as Best Buy today, Circuit City had a few when I was there. Wal-Mart had a case full. Not really sure about GameStop, I was just out shopping for Blu-Rays today when I happened to see copies at the stores I mentioned.Comment

Grabbed mine at Circuit City this morning for $49.99. They had plenty, and the $10.00 discount didn't hurt either!Comment

Re: Bioshock Post Release discussion (360/PC)
Played for about 90 minutes, and so far its all I hoped it would be. I suck at FPS's (I still have to play on at least medium though-ego), but this is a game where I don't mind dieing over and over, because the narrative compels me to keep going. We toss around the term immersive all the time, but this game really delivers the goods.Jordan Mychal Lemos

I'm not a big fan of games that will most likely scare the **** out of me, but hearing all the great impressions you guys are giving this game, for $50 at CC I think I may go and pick it up tomorrow. Don't know if I'll open it yet, I'll have to convince myself that I won't be afraid.Comment
