I'm using that rule as well. Yes, it would have been brutal. I might have contemplated not fighting some of them and trying my best with the limited ADAM I would have. Just remembering that guy freezing me with his roar and flying towards me keeps me up at night. That was intense!!!

Am I alone in that I'll be walking around in the game, looking through cabinets, and then I'll hear the "whomp" of a Big Daddy walking around, and almost actually jump in my seat, swinging my view around to see where the noise came from?

Sometimes it's a guy in a completely different area I can't get to yet...still gets me though, cause those guys are tough (in a good way)

For me, not so much with the Big Daddies (they really don't scare me unless I engage them, since otherwise they are harmless). But the game's physics can get a little crazy with items. Many times I have walked past or over an object and that causes it to go flying around, bouncing like crazy. The sound coming from my rear speakers makes it sound like there is someone coming at me from behind. I freak out, turn around and see a box bouncing around. lol. I think they should turn down the physics just a tad.

Last night, I was savaging for goods and heard some one talk/laugh. Thought nothing of it as it was one of the machines. Turned around and kept walking, turned around again and ran right into someone.

Don't know who got more scared, me or him, cause he ran away and I ran ducking for cover. LOL

Pretty cool. The AI behavior in this game is done really well.

Has anybody else just watched the Big Daddy and Little Sister for minutes?

I don't recall there being a more sophisticated AI relationship in any other game.

The Big Daddy's walking is awesome with a good 5.1 surround set-up. My subwoofer was really rocking. It felt like a Big Daddy was in my living room! This game is amazing in the sound department as well as the visuals.

I can't wait to pick this game up after work. It sounds kinda complicated with tonics, Adam, Eve, Little Sisters and all that stuff. Is it?

Nope, once you get a feel for it, you are fine. And you get a feel for it pretty fast.

Completely agree. I think this game makes the best use of my surround system of any game I've played (I've only had the surround sound for about 6 months.)

                            Holy ****.

That's really all I can say.

I'm on the second to last level, I'm pretty sure and just...wow.
