From all the early reports, that's a fact.

    I'm sorry...but $60 for a 6 hour game is a joke.

There's no value in that at all. Really, this game deserves to be a MASSIVE failure. Publishers need to be told that $60 for 6 hours is not good enough.
As for as the length of the game, its not that big of a deal to me. If the game is fun, then its fun.

I understand that the length of the game is fact not opinion. What I am talking about is how they mention the gameplay needs work and the game isn't worth playing a second time.

I buy games to have fun with them. Yes, I want to have fun with games for a few months and unfortunately, it looks as though HS isn't going to last that long, but thats cool. There's plenty more games that I can play.

They'll miss not having GTA 4 out more than the 360.

When you pay $600 for a game machine, and $60 for the games, they must be better than this.
While what you say may be true this fall(360 outselling PS3), its really not a fair comparison.

The 360 has a one year head start on the PS3 which means this is the second go-around for the 360 titles and the PS3 is still getting its feet wet.

The bundle packs that the PS3 are putting out this Christmas season will greatly help sales, and the fact that now they have big titles such as Lair and Heavenly Sword out, will also drive sales.

Maybe Lair and Heavenly Sword aren't what was expected of them, but they will drive sales, I've already seen it.

its really wasn't "delayed". It was moved back so not to "compete" with Lair. But since Lair was reviewed with the inability to control the dragon, it had to be pushed back to the 31st of August. Now the two games are going to "compete" with each other most likely.

Some of you talk of these games (Lair, HS, Warhawk) like they are already out in stores.

When it comes to games for me only sports games are a definite lock for me. Included in that list can me Marvel and wrestling games. Unless of course I'm familiar with the game/developer. COD, C&C, etc.

****, I even rented BioShock from GF before buying it.

Some of you are disappointed before playing these games. Save your criticism once you play them or else you are just setting yourself to be disappointed.

I'm still looking forward to all three no matter what some reviewers say.

I mean Madden this year got almost a 9 but the complaints are left and right. APF got around a 7 but some of you play it like it got a 10.

A review is one person's opinion. That's all.

Fact is 6 hours in length, but if it's a fun 6 hours, who cares.

An 80 minute movie costs the same to see in the theater as a 240 minute movie. Both could be equally as enjoyable. The enjoyment of any game is what you make it.

even if you compare the two on their own tracks, in my opinion, the 360 still had better standout games at the same point. The argument for the ps3 is that you'll buy it now to play some great games a year from now. That's wasting money, but that's just me.

I fully expect to get a ps3, but in a year, when it's cheaper and the games are actually worth it. Meanwhile, I'm sure I'll have to replace my 360 at least two more times in that span.

maybe the 360 had the better games in its first year than the PS3, I don't know. We could probably debate that til the cows come home.

As for wasting my money, I haven't. I have played some great games already... Resistance, Vegas, Motorstorm, The Show, Madden, NCAA, F1 Racing, Godfather, COD 3, NBA 2k7... and some coming soon... at least I hope.

I'm not a big review guy, but I'm not really surprised that it got this score. Heavenly Sword was one of my most anticipated games after seeing the first trailers. However, after I played the demo it dropped off of my list entirely. I was expecting something with a Ninja Gaiden type of combat, but what I got was a hack and slash game without much substance in the combat. Although it still seems like it will be fun, it really didn't seem that great to me.

Ha. It's literally taken over my PS3, my girlfriend even loves the game. She's getting pretty good too, I think she could run over a lot of people online.

The more you play it, the more I think about picking it up.

And I wish that my fiance' would play sports titles, but she only plays GTA, which scares the hell out of me.

                              I agree. I don't feel I've wasted money with the PS3 either.

It should be an exciting coupe months for the PS3 with those games coming out and lets not forget about Home. Can't wait to see this trophy idea in action.

well if you get it let me know, it's an awesome game. I'll sling you a roster of your favorite team and we can have a little fake NFL game. It's amazing how much you forget you're not playing with the authentic teams when you play someone else with an NFL jersey too.
