I'm not getting it.

Halo had a great single player, but Halo 2 killed it for me. I'm not sure why, but I have no desire at all to get Halo 3.

I somewhat agree. I figure you almost have to get the game now, just to be able to play on a even level early on. A few weeks down the road, all the 12 year old dbags will know glitches and level exploits and have the run of the place.

Anyways, we shouldn't have much trouble getting a room or two filled up with just OS'ers most days, especially judging by the amount of games some on here have log with Halo 2.

The cheating was terrible in Halo 2. Hopefully, that is not going to happen with Halo 3.

I don't get it when some feel the Halo SP was better than the Halo 2 SP. The first Halo had far too many repetitive checkpoints. At times, I thought about putting it down. Halo 2's was better designed and pulled me away from the same old/same old in Halo.

Am I the only one that is goin to start off with legendary difficulty tonight/tomorrow morning when I get the game. I just want to get the achievements for all diff. once you beat the game. And if you guys are gettin killed by snipers on heroic, I hate to see legendary....lol.

Lol, that level and the level when you go back to the pillar of Autumn was the hardest on Legendary. I say me and my friend died more than we killed.....lol. But the alternate ending was well worth it.(hold me)

Co-op campaign kicks ***. Skerik, Z, and I just ran through the first 2 missions on Heroic. Awesome stuff.

I played through the game when it was first released with my brother and was so awe struck that I didn't even notice how repetitive it was. We were so engrossed in coming up with awesome two player tactics and covering each other's back it was incredible. Fast forward to last summer when I played through the game again by myself and it was BOOOOORING. If your on the fence about Halo get some friends together or online and play through in Coop...Makes it infinitely more enjoyable.

Just played a matchmaking.. I guess you have to do basic training.. i won =) 25 Kills and 17 deaths =/

but uhh.. I guess there's a ranking system + experience points now (don't remember if that was in H2) so i'm currently a recruit
