I feel like the time you're actually going to call the cops about your roommate stealing something is when he takes away your virginity. Surely you aren't gullible enough to believe him if he says he won that at a fair.

Anyway man, If you aren't equipped to go across his head with a lamp or something, just try to let it go. Karma is a mofo...He'll get his.

If you must do something, but don't want to get yourself slapped around...wait until he slips up and leaves his stuff unattended and sabotoage that mofo somehow. Take a hanger and poke around the insides through the disk tray opening or something. If he stole it I'm pretty sure he didn't get a warranty.

Don't forget to act shocked and sympathetic when he flips out.

I'd also recommend you get a system skin and pimp out your new machine so he can't take it again. Maybe even scratch your name into the bottom.

The roomate will complain that his 360 died and then show up with a new 360 the next day after stealing your new one yet again.
