Today was the longest school day of my life. I've been itching to play all day.

Probably gonna put in another 3-4 hours tonight.

Why would they try to create a sandbox style game? They spent I'm sure countless hours of research to recreate a 40s LA and then dont give you any real reason to explore it. They could of scrapped the city altogether plus the hundred cars and just cut scene your way from location to location and it wouldn't be any different. I like the efford, I just dont like the execution.

Because then you don't feel like you're in a real city? They recreated things with such detail because that is what Rockstar does - there are 40 different landmarks you can drive around and find/unlock, and you can explore it and drive around and do all 40+ of the side/street crime cases.

Becuase then the side missions wouldn't have been doable. The side missions take place all over the city and you need to drive there. Would you have been happy if you just warped to the side missions? No you would have complained about that.

It is ok that you don't like the game. I am just trying to tell you that you are comparing this game to other sandbox games and it simply is not a sandbox game.

I mean how ridiculous would the game be if you could just run around and kill people? It just doesn't fit.

I agree with that last part 100%. For what drivng is worth to the game, just give me a driving cut scene. Make it like Blade Runner (theater version) and do a voice over summing up the case or Phelps Jack Handey deep thought or whatever.

simply hold triangle (or Y) and you get cutscene so to speak. you dont have to drive from location to location in this game.

Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

Didn't realize we had the option to do free roam under cases and traffic desk. Anyone else just done a bunch of the side missions to get intuition points, then hop back into the cases?

There's even less action in that.

I haven't seen a need to farm intuition points at all....once I reached the max of 5 within the first 6 or 7 cases, I've started every case out with 5 when I go to replay them. Which is nice because I'm not using them at all on the first time I play a case - only on the subsequent ones where I'm trying for the best completion.

But yeah, the free roam option is nice.
