Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Just finished.
I was so happy were the story was goin during the arson desk.....brought me back into the game."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Think I'm going to trade mine in as well. I enjoyed it at first but it quickly lost steam and I really have no desire to pick it up again. I think I'll trade in for something I know will hold my attention (Elder scrolls V: Skyrim).Comment

You almost have to treat this game as storybook and not a game."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

I agree but that is where they drop the ball, the GTA elements wasn't needed in this game. The game should have included interactive cut scenes instead of running around, driving around and doing the same stuff over again.
Btw, was the rest of the DLC released yet? I'm planning a second play thru.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
SpoilerFunny how Cole being a cheater was the only way I found him to be likeable. Drew my eye to those moments of weakness I hadn't noticed before. Like that he was a pretty crappy CO during Okinawa and all the bravado and need to be an upstanding cop was just compensating instead of being a boring perfect protagonist. THe contrast between him and Jack really hit home. Gotta admit. One of the only games that did it's job in drawing you in for that final act. Most get so predictable it feels like going through the motions...can still be enjoyable, but for non story related purposes.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I bought the game on release day and I finally beat it.
The game was too long and I lost interest around the 15th or 16th case. I didn't like the ending.
I was blown away when I first started playing but I don't feel the same way anymore. I'll give Team Bondi credit for making an original game but I thought it would be better.Comment

Is this game worth picking up for $10? I see Amazon has it for $20 and I still have my $10 credit from 2K12.Comment

Well one of my favorite games of all time was Shenmue 2 and that game was slow but had a great story. I see some stuff comparing this to that game so we will see.Comment
