Thats how I got my 1400 pts, I was lucky enough to survive and get a helicopter. Playing headquarters on shipment is hilarious. There have been many times where i'm shooting at someone and notice someone right along side of me shooting in the same direction and turns out it is an enemy. LOL, that happens all the time. Just madness, other than that map I don't really like headquarters too much though.

Yeah, the other night I was playing on shipment and the HQ was in the corner. We had Captured it so the other team was trying to destroy it. I was hiding between the wall & the container, anyway 5 of them sat around the hq to capture it and I went running right in the middle of them and crouched down. They must have thought I was a teammate. I stabbed 3 of them before the other two started shooting at me. I killed the 4th one before I got shot, but I took him out with martyrdom. I got the 250 points for Assassin out of the deal.

just something i'd love to see, but when you are in immediate danger to take the majority of a grenade damage, can the picture of the grenade turn to red or something so i know i'm right on it? I know there is an arrow around, but it sometimes can get confusing in the heat of the moment.

I'd think it's not a good idea for realism, but if they are going to have a kill cam and a map with visible gunfire marks, then why not this too?

I'm very late into this, but I just started playing online over the last several days and now I'm totally addicted. I played through the SP mode when I got the game, and didn't touch it until just recently.

Which guns do you guys prefer to use? I seem to be having the most luck with the MP5 now that I've been able to upgrade to a laser sight. Any thoughts?

This game is awesome. Will you guys be switching to Frontlines when it comes out, or do you think COD still has alot of life left?

COD without a doubt. Frontlines felt like a solid game in a demo buts it going to take more than that to take me away from this game.

COD, but everyone will probably switch next month when Vegas 2 comes out.

Frontlines is like a game I would play for 30 minutes to screw around by my self messing with people.

Rainbow is like an addiction. I just need to kill cj over and over and over and over and over

But I agree, Rainbow will take a lot of time away from COD.

Is Rainbow alot like COD4? Do you respawn? It looked like it would play alot like the city maps in COD. How many people on each side?

I find it's a bit slower paced at least the first one. for instance if you're out in the open and people see you, you're dead. in cod you can sprint and go prone and the recoil sometimes makes it harder to make the kill (and it seems you can take a bit more damage in cod). However RB6 was more tactical and careful for me -like for a round of about the same time I would have less kills AND deaths.

The learning curve for RB6 was shorter for me...like when i retired I had well over a 2.0 k/d ratio sniping 95% of the time

I snipe about 90% of time in cod but only have a 1.28 k/d ratio and have put in about the same total play time as i did w/ rB61. At this point I''m consistently getting way over 2.0 ratio, but it took waaaaaay longer to get to that point and at first i was getting eaten alive.

I actually think cod4 is more realistic, but that rb6 is less stressful and easier to 'master' - a lot of this is because of the maps. both games have problems w/ the majority of guns having too much range.

I think I will pick up vegas 2, and that it will be worth it, but I doubt I will actually appreciate it more than Cod4.

I think it's totally the opposite. COD is a much easier game to master because it is so easy to shoot. The guns hardly have any recoil to them and it's just as easy to kill someone by pumping bullets into their body than it is to just go for a headshot. For example, just start playing with the P90, it's so easy to sprint in and out of every room and take out everyone you see by just shooting into their chest because it has an insane fire rate. I had to stop using that gun because I felt it was so cheap and would consistently rack up 10 kill streaks with it.

Rainbow actually has a lot more kick to their weapons and actually rewards you for being able to hit someone in the head, as it will take a lot longer to take someone down with body shots.

Can someone help me out with the single player of COD4?

I want to beat the game, but now I see why I gave up lol.

I think I'm playing on veteran, so it's pretty tough. I just snipered the guy and shot down a helicopter. I left the hotel and now there's a 20 minute countdown timer that starts at the checkpoint I'm at. I'm on the streets and there's no way to survive to get to the extraction point. Guys keep coming, from every direction, throwing grenades at whatever cover I have. It's ceased to be a "fun challenge" and has moved to the realm of poor design IMO.

Is there some secret? I all ready despise COD4 for its "wave after wave" of opponents with no end in sight (I should be able to sit and clear an area if that's my style of play IMO), so I guess this portion of the game is just impossibly hard because of that, but that doesn't help me out now.

Is there something I'm missing? Otherwise I'll just say "f the single player" and never play it again. I like a challenge, but this goes beyond an enjoyable challenge into sadism.
