Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions
I think today was the first time a random online actually pissed me off to the point I had to tell him off.
We were playing a team deathmatch game, and I was sniping because I just recently unlocked the .50cal and was testing it out. We go down by 100 and this kid starts yelling, saying we all suck, etc. etc...
So I look at the score. This kid has 10 kills and 16 deaths and is like, fifth on our team. I'm 12 and 4...so I take my mic off mut and start belitting the dude, swearing at him, telling him that he needs to shut the **** up and stop dying because he has the most deaths on our team.
Right after I say it, I see him run right at a guy and die. I turn my mic back on and start yelling at him again. He starts trying to counter with "You're just sitting there! I'm at least trying to get kills!"
I literally laugh hysterically and proceed to tell him: "Trying to get kills? Kid...I have more kills than you and a fourth of the deaths. Please shut the **** up and don't talk to me until you can go, at the very least, even."
He didn't talk for the rest of the game, and was on the opposing team the following game. Went negative again (severely...like 10 and 24 or something) so in the post-game lobby I start laughing at him again. He quit.

Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions
Really, I don't get mad by the kids who tea-bag me during Halo, or who trash talk after the game when they actually have a right to.
When people start trying to talk **** when you're doing better than, I feel the need to point out the fact that they suck and have no right to talk.
Another instance, this one from Halo 3:
Team slayer, kid on my team is at like...6 kills, and I have 10. He specifically singles me out when we go down by eight, saying: "If Longhorn could get some kills blah blah blah"...
So I end up leading out team with 18 kills. In the post-game lobby, he actually tried to say something to me...and I pointed out I finished ten kills better than him and he should keep his mouth shut until he actually figures out how to be better than people.
I love being good at video games. Makes up for my lack of athletic ability...I need something to talk trash during and/or brag about.Comment

Other then that, it doesn't bother me.Comment

Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions
funny, I played again the other day for the first time in about 3 weeks and I did good with the K/D ratio. I guess though I am quite patient and always look down the scope before shooting.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions
The only way to play this game is Team Hardcore. It is by far the very best multiplayer experience any game has to offer."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment
