Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions

I got this and Assassin's Creed for Christmas. I'm still stuck on this one level for the last two days. It's the one, with Soap, where you have to go up to the top of the hill, by the barn. Then you have to go all the way back down to the landing zone. There's so many guys I can't get through lol. Any tips?

So when do I go to Prestige mode or whatever? I just reached level 55 this morning.

Which part of that are you stuck on?

Once you go from the barn back to the helipad its actually pretty easy. There is a side path you can take, there will be four guys to kill and after that just haul *** down there. I didn't meet too much resistance taking that route and got there really early. I don't remember the level too well but if you have any questions let me know.

Agreed. Stay, to the left after you kill the four guys and haul arse to the bottom by the water. It took me a couple of tries, but finally I was like "F it" and I ran like a girl to the bottom. Works like a charm.

Actually, I use this strategy quite often. "Run Forest, Runnnn!"

I know I'm a few months late, but this is one of the best games I've ever played...and I haven't even touched multiplayer yet.

Multiplayer is a BEAST! I just got back into this game in the last couple of days, and i'm sorry it took this long. I suck so bad, but the level up system is really nice.

If you are talking about "No Fighting in the War Room", good luck. LOL That one was a pain on Vet.

Yeah that's the one. So annoying because I get so far and I die. Then they send me all the way back to the beginning.

Restart your Xbox. For whatever reason the checkpoints in this level are really random. Sometimes you will get all of them, sometimes you will get none at all. I can't imagine passing this level without checkpoints.

I almost beat the game. I'm stuck at one of the last levels! The Single Player was by far one of the most intense and exciting in many of the shooters that I've played. We can say it is, "Short and Sweet!"

Multiplayer is still amazing. I'm finally starting to have matches with more kills than deaths!

I agree. The single player experience is by far the most intense i've had with any game.

I've had a couple of good multiplayer matches, but most are still rough for me. I had one where I had 17 kills. Not sure how many deaths, though. But for the most part my matches are me trying to figure out where the hell i'm at and everyone else killing me. Still good times though.

I just played the level Death From Above, it could be the greatest FPS level of all time.
