Yes. In order to pass this level you will need about 3-4 checkpoints. I'm not sure how the game registers it though so good luck.

I loved that level. Just really cool how it was designed.

Easily the best/funnest level in a game I can remember.

COD4 is just an all-around outstanding experience. Seems like a lot of people complain that the single player is too short, but I'll take an incredible story and well executed levels and missions that is a bit short over a less compelling but longer campaign any day.

Agreed. That level definetly had the WOW factor in full effect.

I need some help here...got the game for Christmas and LOVE it! My problem is that I don't know how to get in games with my friends. I've never played much online so its probably a stupid question but the only way I get into games is just by picking "find a match" or whatever and it throws me into a game. I only have 2 or 3 guys that I want to get in a game with so its not enough to create our own game or anything. Can anybody help me out?

Before you select "Find Match" the last option on the bottom I think should be "Party Invite". If you choose that it should bring up your friends' list and you can send invitations from there. Then, once your friends join your lobby you can choose "Find Match" and get into a game with your buddies tagging along.

Or if you see that one of your friends is already in a game, send him a message and ask him to invite you. If the lobby is not full you should be able to join his game.

Thanks for the help man, like I said, I'm really clueless with this stuff. I sent an invite to my brother when there was a few open spots in the random game I was playing...he got the message while he was playing in another random game that said something like "want to play?"...but the he didn't know where to go from there. Do you know what he needs to do in that case? Thanks again.

Never mind, figured it out last night...thanks for the help.

So I know this is mostly a thread about multiplayer, but I just finished with the single player and it was by far one of the best experiences I've had with a videogame. Top notch. Looking forward to some multiplayer now!

How many here have beaten the single-player on Veteran? I'm working my way through it now and it is a sloooooow process, since some sections are so hard it takes me over 20 tries to reach the next checkpoint, so I only play a few checkpoints at a time before I stop to cut down on the frustration.

I just past "The Bog" and the last part of the level was absolutely brutal!

I am doing it the same way. Some levels really aren't that bad once you figure out what path works the best, but now I am stuck in that little village looking for Al-Asad. I'm trying to make my way to the house with the turrets (its the last one I have left). I can get to it fine, but there's a bunch of guys around the side and right by the window that I get killed as soon as I show my face.

This is honestly the first game where I couldn't stop playing just so I could finish the single player mode. I was very into the story and it kinda sucks that it was kinda short, but damn was it fun. Now its time to get into the Multiplayer
