I just past "The Bog" and the last part of the level was absolutely brutal!
I have, a pain in the *** sometimes but a fun experience. Since you're that far not much pointers I can give but always push, got to be aggressive to move forward in this game... and I can't stress enough the use of flash bangs in this game on Vet.

Yeah, I have to start using more of my flashbangs. I realized yesterday that I would finish levels and still have all my flashbangs with me.

And you are right, the key is to always keep advancing, since if you stay in one spot and try to kill everyone you'll be there forever because they never stop coming. That is my one negative with the single-player game actually. I don't like these forever respawning enemies. It makes the game feel artificial. I don't mind reinforcments and nice long battles, but the way it is now the enemies NEVER stop coming, yet when you finally advance, suddenly they are all gone. I think that could have been done differently.

I realized last night that I am just trying to beat this on Veteran to get the achievment, because I am not enjoying it at all. lol. I find the difficulty to be so high it goes from being fun to being a chore. But I will pass it! The achievement I am most proud of is beating CoD2 on Veteran and I WILL do the same with CoD4!

I tried playing on Veteran but when I seriously almost threw my controller at the screen I decided to back the difficulty back down to Hardened, which is perfect for me.

Veteran is hard enough without having a time limit. I can't imagine how hard that section must be.

I hope I even make it that far. I am dreading the ending of the sniping level, when you have to wait for the helicopter to pick you up. That was brutal enough on Hardened.

I made a miniature guide on that section a couple pages back. Its hard, but doable to anyone that can pass the game on Veteran.

Instead of going straight, take the small path. You take a right, kill 3-4 guys and run like hell down stairs. Throw some flash bangs, shoot who is in your way and run. Don't turn around. I think I got there with like 2 minutes left. Just keep running.

I'll have to look for it when I get to that section. Thanks.

There you go man, thought I would save you the trouble. It was a pain but passing it was worth it since not a lot of people have that achievement.

Find the VIP on Vet in under 60 seconds is a bitch. However, after about 3 hours I have some what mastered this level.

                    Things to remember.

One you need luck in some areas.

Your teammates must pick up the slack.

Your teammates must not shoot you in the back.

Using flash bangs is a must. At times a flash will go off and some enemies won't get blinded. The luck part plays in again.

Move forward. Time is short, the slower you proceed the more enemies spawn as well.

                    Recommended weapons: P90 and shotgun.

Level starts. Run, stab the guy. Shoot the guy in the hallway to the left. The conference room. Throw the flash as soon as are in the middle of the conference room. Shoot as many as you can, try to get head shots as for whatever reason when they get shot they can see again as it is isn't a instant death. Sucks and it annoying but oh well. As soon as you enter that room pick up the shotgun. (CRUCIAL) The first guy you shoot drops it. Swap the pistol for it. Here is where luck plays in, sometimes you pick it up full, sometimes empty. If empty you are pretty much screwed. Clear the rest of the jabronies with the shotgun and proceed onward.

Once you get to the part with the wall and the split take a right and hide behind the seats. At this point the clock should have 46-48 seconds left. Throw TWO flash bangs. As soon as you throw the second one run like hell to the left behind the looking wooden desk thing. Go prone. Lay there regaining health and reload all your weapons in this area. Your team will clear everyone in this sector while you lay in a safe position. At this point you have the shotgun and MP. Switch to the MP and run toward the stairs, somewhere around there should be a P90. Pick it up, if you can't find it don't waste time looking for it. Continue upstairs, throw a flash to the left of the stairs and flank right. At this point there should be 26-32 seconds. Plenty of time. After you flank proceed slowly and shoot what you see. Check all corners as these bastards will be in places unexpected. Once the room is clear proceed.

When you get to the second room, there is a long hallway that you see to the right. STOP. There are two flash bangs in this sector on the desk in front. Pick them out. Switch to the shotgun and throw them both. Start running and blow anyone in your way with the shotgun. Your teams should pick off any stragglers. When you get to the end of the hallway there will be two guys coming from the left. Easy doing with the shotgun. Sometimes there will be a third but rarely but be prepared for him in case.

Once you pass the third guy, VIP time.

Things to remember on VET for the slow motion.

On Vet it must be a head shot. Shooting him in the leg and going for the head then will result in failure.

You have about three good times he pops his head.

Sweep through on Easy mode first so you get a hold of the slow motion thing so you don't get teabagged like me when you finally get to the VIP and shoot him in the head. I finally got it on the fourth try.

Congratulations. You have passed Mile High on Vet.

Mile High Club def takes a lot of patience unless you are some sort of cod veteran god - Prime gives some good advice..there is also a few good videos on youtube...I pretty much had to cheat like that heh

My best tip would be to really rush hard once you get those last 2 flash bangs on the 2nd level - you need to get a good flash in that long hallway area and move through there quick ... I'm pretty sure I just flew past some dudes that were still alive but flashed in order to make time

Also have fun finally getting to the hostage on veteran only to bust him in the face a couple times =D

just finished the game after stopping single player for a while after getting addicted to multiplayer. Did anybody else play the mission after the credits? reminded me a bit of that level on CounterStrike.

what can I say, the game was intense. The last three or four levels, I must've died like 50 times lol. But I finally beat it. Now time for more multiplayer.
