    Re: Diablo 3

I went with a demon hunter. Just played an hour or so and got to lvl 8. I want to try coop tonight. I'm just starting to get used to it. Still a tad lost. Not sure what to do with my junk loot so i was just selling it all.

Is the loot shared or do you only get what you pick up?

Local co-op loot (that is, what appears only on your TV screen) is first come first serve. Meaning, if you have someone playing next to you, you have to decide between you what to take.

Online loot is different for every player in the game - What you see isn't what another person playing online in that game sees, and you don't have to worry about someone else taking your loot.

That's perfect. Thanks for the info. Couldn't stand playing borderlands with Randoms that would just grab all the loot and leave.

Once I beat the game I want to do some co-op. I want to experience everything by myself first. Don't like being rushed.

The thing about difficulty is you want to find a middle ground between providing a challenge and killing things fast, because the faster you kill things, the more EXP you get and better loot. If you can't kill a treasure goblin before it escapes, you should bump the difficulty down.

Also, for the newcomers, you can turn on Elective Mode in the gameplay options. This will give you more customization over your skill-set, like being able to use multiple skills from the same category.

Loot in local co-op is now earmarked for P1, P2, P3, or P4. No matter who picks up the loot, it's going to the player it's earmarked for.

Dammit I have too much **** to play. I got this, Madden's coming out. I re-discovered my love for my templar in Elder Scrolls Online, started me a pitcher on MLB The Show and the list goes on... oh and I still have to go to work to support my gaming habbit.

Just bought it. I think I'll be rolling with Crusader.

I went with crusader. I played paladin on diablo 2. Thought about monk or demon hunter though. My question is I'm level 9 and the skills are automatically unlocked which is new to me. I remember you used to have to pick skills - at some point do u pick passive skills to build your character or any other part I need to know before "building" a character. I hate feeling like I'm wasting early skill points so want to figure that out before getting there.

And as far as playing, I tend to try and explore the whole map and killing everything for loot. Also in case I get to play with a group at some point is there a "heal" for crusader because I remember when cooping it was imperative someone could cast heal or defense spells to survive some of the later enemies.

You never waste skill points here. Everything is unlocked automatically and you can change it around at your will.

This game is really good. Right when I get used to a play style I unlock something that changes the combat.

It's getting kinda easy on hard though.

Man this game is fun and really addictive already lol.

Went with a Demon Hunter...tend to favor ranged classes and this is right up my alley.

Co-op is a blast too...good times with ODogg and others tonight!

Further, once you reach max level and start accumulating Paragon points (assuming those exist on console) every existing or new character you create on that account gets them and they can be assigned however you like and reset.
