I may have been in there with you. I'm still learning to play so I was lost for a while (and plus I suck). Got up with ODogg some but we just get started and see its later than I thought so I have to call it a night to get some sleep for work in the morning. Want to get up with some people one night (if you don't mind a newbie) but probably going to be tough now with madden.

So my fellow Crusaders, what skills are you all using?

Here is mine:

Primary: Slash with Carve rune
Secondary: Fist of Heavens with heavens tempest Rune
Defensive: Iron Skin with with steel skin rune
Utility: Condemn with unleashed rune
Law: Law of Justice with Faiths armor rune
Conviction: Heavens Fury with Ascendency rune

I think I'm at level 42 right now.

I think I'm at level 42 right now.

I do not remember the names, but I am using the Hammer as the primary, the captain america shield throw as secondary, iron skin, laws of Justice, and the skill where you have phantom horses (or bowmen) knock everyone down.

It's great that you can play the Crusader as an up close tank, ranged fighter while providing support at the same time. I think I am at level 43 and determined to reach 70.

As of right now (since I'm basically not worrying too much about skills until I get a gear set started that I can build around) I've been using this at level 70:

X: Punish with Rebirth rune (Primary tab)
Square: Blessed Hammer with Burning Wrath rune (Secondary tab)
O: Laws of Valor with Critical rune (Laws tab)
Triangle: Akarat's Champion with Fire Starter rune (Conviction tab)
R1: Heaven's Fury with Ascendancy rune (Conviction tab)
R2: Consecration with Shattered Ground rune (Defensive tab)

Passives: Heavenly Strength (or Fervor, depending on 1H/2H weapon finds), Blunt, Holy Cause and Finery. Every once in a while depending on the situation I'll change Holy Cause or Finery out for Renewal.

You can combine gems from your stash (which puts the new one in your inventory) but to socket them they've got to be in your bag.

Thanks for the info. Gems take up so much space. Much better having them in the stash.

I've noticed most of the gifts I've sent out I get one back from the same friend relatively soon or when I receive a gift, I usually have one drop in the wild for them pretty quickly. Feels like there's some back and forth reciprocation built into the system.

The gifting is such an awesome/underrated part of this game. Would be better if there were legitimate trading (with trade windows and all) but Blizz decided against that, even on PC.

I think, since I've been playing this game for couple years now, that I'm going to do something I never really did (and only did a very little bit in D2) and that's play a legitimate Hardcore game. Rolled up a Witch Doctor for the time being to start it.

I already know that heartbreak lies in my future.

Finally finished Act IV. Also killed the nemesis of Smugosauras. I really wish my weapon had a rune slot.

If I acquire a legendary plan at lvl 20 or so does it stay at that lvl? Or if I wait until 70 to redeem it will it be lvl 70?

Is there a way to get gifts for folks without delaying a Nemesis?

legendary plans have their items set at whatever level they are set at. No reason to save up plans.

Yes, ODogg. You get gifts randomly when you get a legendary too.

I've only seen two Nems and have gotten way more gift drops than that.
