I've never played a Diablo game before...very much interested in it though. Does anyone have a guest pass they are willing to let me try?

Act 2 nightmare gets quite difficult once you get to the latter quests. Games amazing though

I hope to get to Act 2 NM tonight. You guys were basically carrying the team while I just whirlwind around the mobs. The game definately ramps up after normal, could just be me though because I'm under geared at the moment.

Yessir. Act 2 right now in NM.

Good to hear. About the only gripe I have with the game right now is that it's too easy (granted, I'm only on act 1), especially when you team up.

They shouldn't even call Act 1 normal Act 1, it should be labeled turtorial mode. Trust me it gets harder... especially after normal.

So found out what my PC issue was when my new 550Ti came in yesterday. A power surge literally wiped out my 9800 Pro. It basically looked like someone took it apart, bent the crap out of it, and then reassembled it.

But now I'm playing D3...WOOT! Me and some friends played online till about 2am. Got my monk to lvl 15.

Today, I'm going to buy a new surge protector.

Sure enough, I suffered my first death not long into Act II....got careless with some random demons and my potion didn't cool down in time to save me

Enemies definitely took a big jump in difficulty - really exposing my DH's weakness. I have quite the glass cannon character - great for dealing damage from a distance but can't take hits well. Those discipline moves, especially Evasive Fire and Vault (ESPECIALLY vault if I get surrounded), are going to be absolutely essential for me. I also pretty much have to use the Templar for a follower to keep enemies off me while I blast them.

The wasps in act 2 were a huge issue for my Barb especially when I don't use the harpoon pull

Here's a tip from a fellow Barb... make sure you have ground stomp. It's so clutch to stun a mob thats surrounded you, and the stun also works on some bosses and champions too.
It's funny because it's one of the first skills that unlock yet it's the one I use and depend on the most.

Here's a tip from a fellow Barb... make sure you have ground stomp. It's so clutch to stun a mob thats surrounded you, and the stun also works on some bosses and champions too.

Yeah as a monk cyclone to blinding flash to tail kick is my go to through almost the whole game, and those are earned pretty early.

Oh yea can't forget the pull rune. Then if the mob is too hard to handle I just whirlwind out of it.
