Fellows I jumped on yesterday and I am "GARBAGE" LOL!!! I was wondering if it takes a long time for you guys to get into a game other than Horde??? I thought hundred of thousands of players would be playing this game and it seems as if no one is playing. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Again, boy do I suck at this game, but I love playing it Peace!!!

That's "normal". Matchmaking in Gears 2 still sucks until they improve on it more.

I rented it and beat it and enjoyed the sp. I played mp and sucked so it wasn't very fun...until i wandered around 4 maps that I like against one bot. I learned the maps - and now it makes sense where people go, and I can anticipate it. Also, just like gears 1, it's mostly about the weapons on the map. if you can consistently get to them before anyone else, you'll start racking up more kills.

I was absolutley shocked hte last time I played and went 7kills 2deaths. Normally I have been 0kills 1 down and 5 deaths. Watch how the other teams's behaviour changes once you pick up the torque bow, or the boomshot, mortar etc... it's a totally different game.

I just wish there was one game-type where you pick your load-out. I always snipe in practically every shooter, so It would be cool if I could load out that way if I wanted to.

one last thing is you have to be good at no-aim shotgun use.

Got some horde going last night with Sportsdude and Trucky and nyisles. Got to lvl 37 before me and Sportsdude and some random died out....

Yes and also if I remember correctly, there were other cities in the campaign that were still up but just were overran by locust.

yeah that was good times man. if only trucky and nyisles didn't have to duck out early, we might have had a chance at 50.

Ok, first of all, what does FTW stand for... it's been driving me nuts.

Second, as far as this game goes... the single player is fantastic. Graphics, gameplay, etc, it all surpasses the previous game's campaign... so good job with that.

However, I still can't help but feel let down by this title. As has been stated by others, they completely ruined the online play. Finding a quick match was SO easy in the last one, now it's a chore. I realize this was their solution to rid of the host advantage, but hell, I'll take that any day over this mess.

I dunno... like I said, LOVING the campaign... but otherwise? Eh.

It makes me sad... I looked forward to this game SO much.

At least I have Uncharted 2 to look forward to now
