Each faction gets one extra gun. OS is French so they get the Famas.

Yeah I'm still trying to get a feel for the game. Most of the time I have no idea where I'm going or where people are gonna come from but I guess in time I'll learn the maps. I've actually been using that same gun from the SAS that Heelfan is talking about.

What kind of scope do you guys use? I've mostly been using the ACOG but when I spectate, looks like other people are using something totally different.

I go with a front grip and medium scope on both the famas and 552.

16 vs. 16 on Frost Fire with no kill limit (20 minutes of craziness) I think our team had over 500 kills. Most intense, insane game I have played yet.

Its a cool map for a small group, but damn I could only imagine how it is with 16v16.

I haven't played socom since socom 2 and i just got this 2 days ago.How do i launch grenades like i did in socom 2?

I actually like Urban Wasteland a lot. My least favorite is easily Quarantine, but the more I play it the more I learn to like it. All of the maps are actually pretty good. I'm kind of getting sick of Fallen though.

how do you join someone who is playing on your friends list ? Do you have to just do it manually or can you automatically go there???

this is my first ever SoCom game, and right now I have no idea what I am doing. I am getting killed 3 times for every 1 kill I get. It's hard when you don't know the maps.
