Re: Let's talk about... Grand Theft Auto 4
I only have a ps3, and can say the 360 one is the game to get if you have both. It'll have the DLC, plus the bonus of a better online system.Comment

Re: Let's talk about... Grand Theft Auto 4
the fact that they took 6 extra months to look at how to make the ps3 version run better than it did at first is reason enough for me to get it for the ps3. in a way i KNOW it's optimized now then again maybe they dev'ed the onlne for 360 more in this time as well seeing that xboxlive IS the leading online provider for current consoles...
either way. IF both games are not up to snuff or one runs better than the other than i will sick and tired of the next gen gaming experience altogther. same thing goes for all the EA sports games coming out. IF they are less than 60 fps and run worse or whatevr on ps3. i'll probably start going off video gaming for awhile to the point that when i do pick it back up9gaming that is) i won't even care or notice disparities. leaving the community would help as well because you're then not hanging over every word over every version of agame etc. it's time that dev's start realizing what they are actually influencing bevause morality is low within our groups man it's asad right now we do not know what we're exactly buying anymore. they might as well feed us paper tell us it's pizza and be done with it. honestly i wonder WHY the heck we haven't seen PROPER gameplay of this damn game. heck the spoiling nature of it I wanna see what the heck i'm putting my money down for . heck with that. where behindshadows when we need him to drop a video for us in this case. thats when it would help immensly.Brand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Let's talk about... Grand Theft Auto 4
The way I see it, if you own both a PS3 and a 360. The decision is a no brainer, pick up the 360 version. If you've got a PS3, you'll still enjoy the game. Multiplayer might not be as good as it is on the 360, and ofcourse you won't get the DLC that the 360 gets. No matter which version you get, this game is going to own.Comment

Only difference will be Sixaxis with the PS3, and achievements and DLC on the 360.Comment

Yep I believe the color on the X360 will be a little darker or something like that but it'll pop out a bit more and be a little more vibrant on the PS3.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Walkabout Radio Removed From Final Build:
Some time ago, a number of magazines reported that you'd be able to listen to the in-game radio stations while you walk around the streets of Liberty City using GTA IV's cell phone. Unfortunately, EGM has now confirmed that this feature has been axed from the final version of the game.
The removal of promised features is not uncommon for GTA titles. Early in the San Andreas media blitz, an excited Dan Houser told the Official UK PlayStation 2 Magazine "We’re having to go to dual layer DVD because we’ve already filled up a full DVD". Later that year, GTA San Andreas shipped on a single layer DVD for PS2. Other magazines, including Australia's official PS2 magazine and GamePro, reported that trams in San Fierro would be drivable, yet this feature was mysteriously missing from the final release.
With just eight days left on our countdown, could this be the beginning of a week which reveals some more features which didn't make the cut for the final version of GTA IV? Thanks to wesj for the scan!#RespectTheCultureComment

Got this from one of the GTA Forums...Its part of a review from the French Magazine of PS3M:
The immensity of the city is almost frightening
The graphics are very cared for whatever subject or detail. Everything shines, everything is beautiful!
Walking in San Andreas with no aim in the streets was sometimes boring. The beauty of Liberty City and its animation make walking a real pleasure
It's Roman that motivate Niko to start missions by always reminding him the big plans of the family Bellic.
You can make work joy girls.
Weapons stores will be in Liberty City
You'll be able to take the subway to travel LC
During the missions, Niko could put to good use his abilities to climb and infiltrate quietly.
In a mission, Niko and his friends had to steal the trunk of a bank using explosives. This was followed by a race with the SWAT, helicopters, and Niko had to take refuge in the Underground subway to gain $250000.
In the clothing stores, you choose your clothes and you try them directly.
The Pay N Spray is not being used to evade the cops, just to paint your car.
The only bugs noticed by the journalists are the problem of sight, and the heavy motions of the character.Continental Europe is the next stop on the Grand Theft Auto IV world tour, and we've got two new reviews from magazines based in France and Germany.
The French edition of PSM3 awards GTA IV 20/20, claiming that the game's only faults are its sometimes odd feeling character movements and "dumb" AI. While these are issues for the game, they aren't too significant, the magazine says.
German magazine Games Aktuell gave their thoughts based on previews they've received from Rockstar Games, but presented the article in a review format. They claim that the soundtrack is the best of any GTA title to date and the game looks and plays great. Their overall rating was "very good".#RespectTheCultureComment

Circuit City offering free $10 Gift Card with GTA IV Purchase:
The latest flyer promoting the weekly offers and releases at Circuit City (a US retailer) has found its way to the internet and there are a couple of bargains that may be of interest to those looking to buy GTA IV next week.
Most significant is the free $10 gift card that will be given to buyers of GTA IV on either format. You don't have to do anything else, simply buy the game at its normal price of $59.99 for the standard edition or $89.99 for the special edition and you'll get the gift card included for free.
Their other offer will appeal to people who haven't yet bought a next generation console. If you purchase a new Xbox 360 console along with GTA IV between April 27th and May 3rd, you'll get an additional wireless conroller included for free. The motivation behind this one is a little odd, since it's previously been confirmed that GTA IV doesn't feature any split screen multiplayer, but a bonus is a bonus, right?!#RespectTheCultureComment
