I wish they would try Bakersfield, California. Home of the South High Rebels. Plenty of Gangsters/Gangbanging going on there and it's only 90 miles from LA. Peace!!!!

I saved my game last nite and I went back today to pick up where i left off and it wont load. The screen is stuck at the loading screen, Im on the PS3. Anybody who has the PS3 have u experience this problem and if so is there a solution for this??

It's an interesting topic where GTA might go next. If it weren't for the fascination by the lead guys of the GTA series with urban America I would say they would go overseas and do London or Tokyo, but if it were to be in the U.S. again and not revisiting an old location I'm not sure what would be left other than maybe a metro area like Chicago, Atlanta, or maybe even the D.C. area.

I think a GTA DC edition could be cool with all of the different landmarks in there, the ability to mess around by the White House etc. I could also see how other areas would be cool as well, I would however like to avoid going overseas for future titles, I think part of what makes this game so great for some is the ability to identify areas because they live there in real life, taking the franchise overseas will get rid of that for a lot of people. Secondly, their GTA London edition wasnt any good imo, even though it was merely a PS1 title but there is also The Getaway that takes place overseas so I say stay in the states. Maybe a Hawaii GTA, lots of beautiful scenery, different cultures then previously depicted in the GTA series, the multiple island thing is already in place etc, it could do well also.

I like the idea of DC, that would sound pretty fun...another one would be a place like Detroit or Las Vegas...

Some sort of PS3 DLC coming.

As we all know, the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 will be getting exclusive downloadable content sometime after the game's release. As of now though, nothing has been announced for the PS3. Well an article in the latest version of PlayStation World Magazine states that the PS3 will indeed be getting downloadable content. This information comes straight from GTA 4's senior developer, Jeronimo Barrera. No details were given, unfortunately, but that alone is still good news. Everything after that is purely speculation. The article talks about two possible scenarios, one being that Microsoft only paid for timed exclusivity and the PS3 will eventually be getting the same thing. The other, more realistic scenario, is that the downloadable content will be in the form of PlayStation Home unlockables. Considering that almost every game from here out will have some sort of Home-integration (most being game-themed wallpapers, furniture, etc.), that does make a lot of sense.
