I agree with this. Chicago-ish would be sweet, but if not that, another Vice City would be cool ad hell.

I want to see GTA III completely remade with the new engine; but with the same characters, city layout, vehicles, etc, etc. Basically GTA III updated for gameplay and graphics. Still my favorite GTA game of them all.

            No GTA Dubuque, IA?

Chicago/Midwest could be sweet. You have water with the great lakes and farmland not to far out of the city. Plus has a storied past with crime that still run true today.

Technically that's what they did with GTA IV when they "returned to Liberty City". Granted, they gave even more of a New York vibe this time around, but that really is what they did. Plus they already have a Liberty City Stories as well.

All I'm saying is that if they did this, there would be many people that will also complain how much they've rehashed this.

Only Rockstar knows what it is they've been working on, and I trust them fully.

I'd be happy with Chicago, Philly, Boston, modern Miami (with maybe an option to hop down to Puerto Rico and/or Cuba), or New Orleans. All of those spots have good locales and the kind of hard edges and conflict that facilitate a good GTA story.

I just started GTAIV back up again. I played it when it first came out, loved it, but got sidetracked with other stuff and never finished. I'm back to square one this time and plan on playing the expansion too.

I'm still waiting to get to island #3. I'm enjoying island 2, but I want to know what's on island 3 already.

Don't get much time to play, though. I'm slowly making it through.

I'd be very interested in Chicago or New Orleans. I would also be happy in seeing something completely new, that captures cities from all over the world but does not strictly look like one or another. It's whatever though. Whatever Rockstar decides to do I will buy it no matter what. I still can't wait for Red Dead Redemption.
