re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Island 3 won't look like much when you go into it because it's not full of skyscrapers, but it has some sweet freeways and a cool industrial area on the southeast side of it as well as a prison (or some sort of correctional facility). Island 2 is still my favorite, but island 3 is still kind of cool.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

That's right. It's laid out geographically just like the NY metro area. You got Jersey on the left, Manhattan in the middle, and Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx on the right. I've driven all over NYC and its uncanny how they got the feel of the different neighboorhoods down pat.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Seeing you guys talk about this game makes me want to go out and purchase it again. I had it on the 360 but sold it shortly after I picked it up when I decided to get rid of my 360. I only played it for a few weeks and never repurchased it on the PS3. It looks like I should go pick it up and give it a full play through.Comment

Go for it. I'll tell you - when I first played it, I quit shorty into the second island and was greatly disappointed. Thought it was overrated and that they really hurt the GTA series... But playing it again now, I'm loving it.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Though I'd still like to see my city done right in a game. Only one I can remember is that crappy James Bond game a while back which made New Orleans look like friggin' Paris. And it had an adjacent swamp with a friggin' plantation between the causeway and here.
I mean, you gotta have a swamp in a video game about New Orleans or else it isn't New Orleans...RIGHT?!? *eye twitch*Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Yeah and a strip club that is obviously a homage to the Sopranos. Like many I've just started up the main story line again. I don't care what anybody says, this game is a staggering achievement. It blew me away in 2008 and I'm still loving it two years later. The amount of detail in this beast is just insane. I've literally spent hours reading the in game internet, laughing my butt off the entire time.

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I finally beat the main game yesterday......I ended up flying the helicopter really high, this way I didn't get hit by that RPG until the end of the sequence. The game was a little bit too long for my taste, but very enjoyable and I clocked in at 32 hours.
I started The Lost and the Damned last night, this game already starts off crazy. It is nuts how much I see Sons of Anarchy in this game and there is even a character Clay in the game, I was waiting to meet Jax and Tig. LOL!Comment
