I started using cheats after I beat the game. I use one's like spawn a certain car, or get the police noteriety off. Just makes the game more fun to mess around with, which is the only thing I do now since there's no more story for me(besides those little side missions with the people on the street).

I used cheats the moment I started the game all the way until I beat it. It didnt hinder your ability to get trophies from what I could tell. I do know that when you used cheats it said something about your percentage and progress not being uploaded to the Rockstar servers due to using cheats but since I didnt care about that, it didnt matter to me at all.Comment

Yeah, I give BoGT the edge over TLAD - better weapons and better cars(I love Yusef's Super Drop Diamond). But I do enjoy riding in formation and the gang wars from TLAD.Comment

Question for you GTA diehards...
I've always stayed away from GTA/sandbox games. I never saw the point of 'free roaming' and doing things when I wanted to do them. I think this stems from growing up in the late '80s with platform games that guided you along.
Well, after passing on all of the GTA offerings for the original XBOX, I finally broke down and bought GTA: San Andreas a week ago. I'm trying my best to warm up to the game/concept. After the first hour I hated it, but after three its grown on me.
With that being said, I'm not sure I see myself playing it much more, BUTTTT, it has peaked my interested in GTA IV. GTA IV is sitting out there like a classic movie and I kind of feel like I won't be complete unless I play it. I keep telling myself I have to be "missing something" for not loving these GTA games, yet the sizeable nature of these games is so daunting. I hear of people putting in 50+ hours, 100+ hours... and that terrifies me. LOL
Now, RDR is sitting out there...
Anyway... to end this rant, do you guys think I'd be better served in buying the GTA IV: Episodes of Liberty City game rather than GTA IV? Would I get the 'feel' of a GTA game, but in a smaller dose?Comment

Yeah. I enjoyed it more than the Niko stuff personally.

Vice City and San Andreas are worth playing, going back to GTA III would probably turn him off to the series. People forget that GTA III is pretty old and it does not look to great now adays...My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment
