I still haven't received confirmation that my local Gamestop will be doing a midnight release. Keep talking to underlings who say they have'nt heard anything. When I call for the Manager, as they suggested, he's never there when they tell me he will be

This store does a very good volume overall so I'd be surprised if they didn't do a midnight release.

Same here. Are you going to Game Crazy or Game Stop? The only game I usually take a vacation day for is NCAA Football.

Couldnt agree more. Dont get me wrong, i love my video games more than i should (i only get like 3-4 games every few years, any NCAA, Madden, Metal Gear, GTA, and ive added the Show) but im 28, getting married, and going at midnight, which means i dont get home till 1 or so to play a game and go to work, i cant do it anymore, and yes, it sucks to have to realize that and type it.

But that doesnt mean i wont be waiting in line to get it, at least then i can look forward to it on tuesday

To the guys above, I understand your situation. But IMO it does not make sense to at any age to be out at midnight to get a game. When you can just drop $5 on it for a pre-order and pick it up at a convenient time.
