I would love that.

A Xbox 360 GTA IV console was actually on sale on ebay yesterday for somewhere around 800.00 with a bunch of bids. According to the seller, the consoles were only given to artists and people who worked on the game, and they are all serial numbered as well, not bad looking at all, the top of the system was the cover of the game.

Im there with you, utnil about 345 or 4 when i take off. Its nice to have an office though where no one can see me pounding F5 for updates

Yeah, I'm working on a "project" right now.

Stuck here until 5... It's funny, when I picked up the game, there were 3 guys from UPS waiting on line to pick up the game. All had their trucks double parked in the middle of Manhattan outside CC.

So if you guys don't get your packages, that's why.

So for those who have an HDTV how does it look? because the footage ive see werent HD.

I played the ps3 version in 720p for about 10 minutes and wasnt too impressed with the graphics. Gonna try some adjustments when I play again after work.

I moved up brightness and contrast up about 3 clicks or so and it looks better. NOt as dark and you can see better at night

LOL, that's pretty funny. I guess UPS guys need to get their GTA on, too.

That's a little disappointing. I don't have huge expectations coming in, so hopefully I won't be too bummed out by the visuals.

I don't understand these comments...the graphics cannot be as crisp as Gears for example. The graphics are unheard of RELATIVE to the type and size of game that it is. Cod4 to me looks amazing, but one map is also only one city block or less...this is all of new york!!!
I'm extremely impressed. just look up vids of gta san andreas and compare the two - it's uneal!

I played for an hour and a half and I enjoy the game, but it's not mind blowing or anything, thus far. I had to turn the brightness and contrast in the game all they way up. The graphics aren't that amazing. It looks very grainy to me.

I couldn't get online either. I hope that's fixed tonight.

Hah! Yeah...at least your wife is cool with you having the game. My wife thinks the entire idea of the game is disgusting and tells me to enjoy playing games like this now because when we have a kid, I'm "stuck with Mario and Madden."

Don't feel bad, my HDTV has been sitting in Louisville since Friday. Got shipped to Lexington yesterday... still won't get it until Wednesday.

What's up with the social club? I keep linking my gamertag and it says I'm linked, then it says I can't access the social club til I'm linked. Makes no sense.

That's what I figured, I think the systems being different was over blown. Game is the same, maybe a small thing here or there, but that's it.

Exactly- the only people thinking it runs/looks better on either system are just searching for a reason to assert their respective console dominance i.e. the definition of a fanboy. All this BS talk about anti-aliasing, pop-in, 630p vs. 720p, etc. is just, as I have said all along, a waste of time. I'm happy the thread seems to be moving away from those pointless discussions.

Anyway, I just went to Circuit City and all they had was the 360 Special Edition. I bit on it . There was no way I was waiting- plus, I don't feel bad because Rockstar (and 2K) are a company I really believe in. The $10 gift card helped too. This is really a momentous occasion and I want to remember this game.

I have to stay at school till 8:00 today (memorizing meds is getting painful) but tonight I'll be on gentlemen
