The "Angels of Death MC" have a website also lol. They are obviously based off of the Hell's Angels. I wonder if they based "The Lost" after any real gang. They do have some similarities to the "Sons of Anarchy", a show on FX, that was loosely based off of some real gangs but I cant remember which ones.

I'm loving the new soundtrack on here. The only two stations i've been listening to are The Beat 102.7 and Liberty Rock.

The new soundtrack is cool. They added quite a bit.

ive been listening mostly to Liberty Rock and LCHC. Ive found myself diggin some of the death metal on LCHC, and I dont usually like death metal. It fits with the atmosphere of the game though.

I listened mostly to the JNR Jazz station in the main game with Niko, but smooth Jazz doesnt seem to fit in this one lol.

Does anyone know how to load up the original game after the DLC is initially used? Now by default when it starts up it goes straight to the Lost and the Damned.

go to "game" in the menu after TLAD is loaded up, and then choose "new"...and it will give you the option of choosing the original game

Played the first couple of missions. Good stuff, though I already miss Niko.

Anybody have issues with loading/framerate? At one point during a chase, the framerate stopped for a split second to load. Never had that problem with GTA IV before.

Who's down for some multiplayer OS havoc tonight? Between 8-10 ET is probably best for me.

I know im late but WTF!!! I just completed the original(not 100%) and I soo do not like the ending...is it different and do the story gets longer when you make other choices? i definitly have to play thru again but on that note I finished the story just in time for Lost & Damned!

I killed off Playboy, the irish cop, Niko's old buddy who crossed him and went with revenge instead of the money..If I have done the total opposite would the story advance further? I had the game since June(been busy) but it still felt short...

I'd say you definitely made the right choice at the end, going for the money ends up not only with Roman dying instead of Kate (or is it the other way around) , but Kate also practically dumps Niko. Either way, definitely no happy ending there.

When I first played through the game back when it was released, I chose the REVENGE strain. However, when I just played through the game again recently I went with the DEAL strain and the final mission seemed a lot cooler to me. Either way, Kate dies if you go with REVENGE and Roman dies if you go with DEAL. Losing Roman would be a bigger drag I suppose since you cannot use him for the car service anymore, but I just wanted to see what would happen with the other strain this time. And by choosing DEAL, the only people left in my phonebook now are Brucie, Dwayne (I obviously killed Playboy), Little Jacob, Mallorie and Packie.

Phew... that was a mouthful.

WTF, why in the hell did Rockstar remove police presence from Free Roam mode online??

Not only are the police unavailable when setting a Free Roam session through the expansion but you can't even do it from the main game any more!! The option to set police to on/off is ghosted out now and set to OFF by default.

Has anybody else noticed this???

Boy, if Rockstar removed the police intentionally, then they have become soft and have given into some kind of outside pressure.

Again, this is in the free roam mode which me and my buddy play all the time.

Am I just missing something here?? Is there a fix for this??

It's not removed, you just got in a game where it is removed. I think what happens is there's different types of games automatically set up. I've been in games where cops and friendly fire were both off and games where cops were on and friendly fire was off.

Well, this was a private session that I set up from scratch like I've always done since GTA4 released. They've clearly changed the option for police and two other options that used to be changeable as a host option in free roam (friendly fire and allow/disallow aim lock). Without friendly fire on (set to OFF now by default) you can't even kill other people playing with you. Defeats the whole purpose of free roam in my opinion to take away options...............what gives!!!!

Free Roam mode has always allowed police (and the others) as options to turn on or off but not any more. As mentioned, me and a friend have been playing a ton here lately and have only been playing free roam until he gets used to the game and the city before he ventures off into other online modes.

The cops were of course present when I checked the Cops and Crooks game mode but that's to be expected.

This just isn't GTA without the freakin police in free roam mode.........UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
