I thought GTA:SA was kind of tedious and the map was too huge at times for me, though GTAIV got to be very freakin' tedious with the friends and phone calls. GTA3 is still my favorite.

People that said San Andreas is the best one, what was about it that made you think it's better than GTA IV? I'm not bashing your decision, but just curious to know the reasons for saying that.

I loved where the story went. It was epic, but still funny. It took you from gangs to the FBI and back. It gave you a character from the hood, made you have to prove yourself according to gang "family" ethics, but then it exposed your character to a world that marginalized those ethics.

From a gaming standpoint, I LOVED driving through the country with my own music playing. I loved the fact that you could roll up on trailerpark racists--"He's takin' from us!"--go to the gay area in San Fran, to Area 51 and back to the gangs in LA. You could customize your cars, parachute and fly a jetpack. If you danced around with dual wielding, it looked like something out of Equilibrium CJ was the most athletic of the GTA characters, so running around and jumping gates to escape cops was possible, the gang territory wars were very satisfying and he was also the most customizable character of the series as well.

Just talking about it makes me want to play, bad graphics and all.
