Jim, that does suck big time. I have given up on this game so many times, only to run back to it the next day out of pure frustration. Last night I got so fed up that I just quit and started my play through with Mass Effect. I should have never played this game on Apocalyptic. I tried for the first time in a very long time to play a game on the hardest difficulty first, but it has hurt some of my enjoyment since I think playing it on Normal or Hard would have been the best route to take.
Granted mine weren't save issues, but issues with Apocalyptic mode being insane during the boss fights. I hope that Vigil games listens to the issues from people for the sequel. The end to me is a very unbalanced video game as the hack n' slash pretty much goes out the window and it becomes puzzle after puzzle. In some ways this game is better than Zelda, but in others if you are trying to imitate the master you might as well do it the correct way.
