    Spoiler

Then I'll have to spend a couple days wrapping up the rest of the trophies I imagine.
The whole portal aspect brought the game down for me and I thought it was just a horrible idea. I hope that with the sequel that some of these mishap ideas don't return.............I still haven't finished this game because of some of the stupid design decisions. I think I am about done trying to get trophies/achievements just to get them. At times I notice myself playing a game just to get a trophy even though there are things that drive me nuts with the game.

I've still had fun with the game, just the portal part in the towers after beating each guardian was a pain. Everything else in the game has been pretty fun. It was a bit hard early on taking on some of the big fire demons and stuff, but now that War is pretty powered up, it has been average difficulty I think. I really like the combat and all the different combos you can put on. I like the way you switch between weapons and power ups as well. Zelda games have always been a little clunky to me in that area, but this one feels pretty smooth. I wish there was more to do with the horse though.

There's a couple trophies that I'm not looking forward to doing like maxing out the 3 weapons and riding, the horse kills, and riding the horse for so long. Those are fun trophies to get when they come through the process of playing the game, but as it turns out, after I'm done beating the boss I'll just have to load a save before the boss battle and just grind away to get them, and that will be boring. But it's only a few trophies, so it will be nice to get them all.

I was looking at your trophies for the game Bio, you are right at the finish. Are you not going to do the last part?

        Re: Darksiders

My problem with this game too is that I started out on Apocalyptic which has made certain boss fights rather difficult. I will finish this game eventually, but I just had to take a break from it.

I also wish there was more use of Ruin in the game. There are some parts that just feel tacked on which stinks. I did hate the portal aspect a lot.

It will be interesting to see what Nintendo does with the next Zelda.

A lengthy demo is coming next week.

          VG247

Gamers will be able to get to grips with Darksiders™’ true essence in the upcoming release of a 90-minute game demo for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3 based on THQ Inc.’s critically acclaimed action-adventure game.

The demo contains the entire first dungeon encounter from the game, the sprawling Twilight Cathedral. This engaging and challenging level contains dozens of puzzles for players to solve, new pieces of equipment to discover and epic boss battles against the monstrous demon Jailer and the savage bat-winged Tiamat. Representing a cross section of Darksiders’ key features, the demo will take approximately 90 minutes to complete for the average player. The demo will become available to download from Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation®Network on 25 February.

David Adams, General Manager of Vigil Games commented:

“We are really pumped to be bringing a playable demo for Darksiders to Xbox 360 and PlayStation3. We really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers and so rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game.”

            Re: Darksiders

Just picked this game up, since it always intrigued me, plus you I read it comes with a code to get a free copy of Red Faction: Guerilla (a game I was planning on buying anyway). Sure enough, it came with a code for the game. Sweet!

As for Darksiders itself, I have been loving it so far. I absolutely LOVE Joe Madureira as an artist, so the art style and visuals are fantastic in my opinion. The game is a lot of fun. Being a big Zelda fan, yet not owning a Wii (so I've been Zelda-less since Wind Waker), I have been having a total blast with the game.

I recommend it to anyone who's been on the fence. Especially since you basically get 2 games for the price of one (Red Faction)

I picked up a copy along with Heavy Rain. I regret not getting it at release with the Toys R Us deal. I was going to wait for a price drop, but then hearing about the mystery code included in new copies getting you Red Faction: Guerrilla and Darksiders Digital Hellbook for $5 (S/H) sold me.

                I just got this game last week... and wow, it's been fun (although some of the camera angles can be quirky, and my god is there screen tearing)... for those that have completed it;

I'm stuck at that worm stage where you have to walk to the platforms, but I keep dying! Any tips/tricks?

Use your jumping double dash for more speed. You jump then use dash, then as u hit the ground u can dash again. I beat it many months ago so I am not 100% on where you are stuck but that helps with a tad more speed.
