Decided I'm getting the RB2 game when it comes out for the 360, then I'll get the whole GH:WT bundle.

Are the GH:WT instruments still the best to get? I didn't even know there was a third title.

I figure I'll get RB2 game, and then once the GH:WT drums can be bought separately, I'll grab them.

Or maybe I'll grab the entire bundle, who knows.

I decided on getting the GH:WT bundle.

Already sold my Rock Band drums (got $50 for them). I like the Guitar Hero guitars better anyway, and the new one looks sweet with the slide control. I like the look of the drums and they have the cymbals in tact without having to pay $50 or so for the add on's. Plus, like the RB ones, all wireless where my RB 1 one's weren't.

Yeah, the GH WT guitar has a touch pad , and you can slide down the guitar.

But does the GH:WT version have a double bass pedal attachment? That's huge for me. And that's a real question, btw. I'm not sure.

I wish there was still one game, and Activision and EA would **** off.

If someone else sees this, I'd be so happy. That's the ONLY problem with this game is that it can be a bit difficult to see at times.
You're not seeing things. This is one of the changes they've made for RB2. HMX listens to the consumer, that's for sure.

On the RB vs GH drumset...the way I understand it (drummers, help me out) there are some situations where drum rolls would require 4 toms (I think I'm using the right term). For instance, Run to the Hills. GHWT would have no way of reproducing this on their set, because there are only 3 drum pads. This is not an issue for RB2's drums because there are still going to be 4 pads.

Am I totally off base here?

^^No, that is a perfectly valid point. With the cymbal attachments, rolls could potentially go: RRRR, YYYY, BBBB, GGGG, B(splash!)

Especially if as they said, the pads are all snare/toms and the cymbals make cymbal sounds during the freestyle mode and fills. That's a very good point.

Wait the GH one is three pads. Wicked lame, as a drummer I want nothing to do with that. I know most band can actually play four piece set and have no problem with it. IMO though four toms gives you more freedom for fills and other beats using the toms. Maps for instance.

It's nice but I doubt it'll have any impact on RB games.
