Re: Rock Band 2
I don't reconize it at all. The only things it's listed as being in that I've see are a Simpsons episode and Semi Pro and I still can't remember it. Probably wrote it off as some generic public domain song if I've heard it somewhere else.Comment

Has anyone put the pad silencers on the RB2 drums? If anyone has, is it worth doing?Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
I have them. I like them for the protection aspect. They seem to quiet them somewhat, especially if you're hitting in the middle of the pad. The only thing I don't like is that the adhesive doesn't seem to be real great. Mine already seem to be coming up from the pad, and I don't even drum that hard or that often.Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095
Super Smash Brothers: 1590 5514 9377

Re: Rock Band 2
This is for some of the folks who are looking to see what the extra songs that will be coming out for the Pearl Jam release will sound like.
In this case, Brother is vocalized and the live songs included are part of this as well. Hoo boy is the Pearl Jam release going to be incredible. Ten being remastered sounds incredible.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
"The Starlight Foundation has been using gaming as part of their charity operation for years — but it looks like they've struck it big with a Harmonix/MTV Games partnership and a hefty donation.
Fifty-thousand dollars is described as a "generous minimum donation" by Starlight, but they've got to be thrilled about the 650 Rock Band bundles. These will go out to hospitals and facilities where the foundation hosts its Great Escape events for seriously ill children and their families.
The partnership will make it possible for Starlight kids to attend Rock Band tour events. Harmonix or MTV Games will also probably host a few parties in their honor as part of the deal."
