hey guys...im new to RB2. I have always played GH and never gave RB 2 a look but i recently saw all the great songs they have (pearl jam was what did it) and i had to give it a try

well i realize what a moron i was for not playing sooner as this game is way better then the GH series imo. I owned GT WT for a minute, but wasnt feeling the drums so i took it back.

right now im using the GH 3 les paul guitar and its working great. I want to get drums and a 2nd guitar. I hear the GH guitar and drums are better then RB 2.....just wondering what you guys think

I've adapted to the RB2 guitar, now I much prefer it over the GH guitar. It feels less like a "toy" to me, I don't know how to describe it really.

No opinion on the drums - but the guitar is far better in RB2. The strat is great. The GH guitars feel like cheap plastic, hunky pieces of crap. I won't touch one anymore.

I want to try the RB2 guitar but I hated the RB1 guitar so much I don't want to risk the money on it.

from what I have read, the RB@ guitar was much better. I use it and its good. the only thing is I am a lefty and even though you can change the buttons you can't move the whammy bar. My hope is someday they do make a left handed guitar.

but these are toys.

My only gripe with these is that I would actually prefer if they had wired guitars, or at least the option to plug something in like the wireless 360 controllers. I kind of hate having to buy batteries every other week.

I'm perfectly happy with my old GH II explorer. Got two of 'em. Thinking about taking one apart though and modifying the strum bar if possible.

I can't remember where I found mine. I think it was on the inside with one of those things that you would normally toss as it just looks like an advertisement that you don't want, if that makes sense. Basically, I don't think it's part of the wrapping or anything.

Did you buy the Legacy Edition or the Deluxe Edition?
