I actually believe you have til Sunday night to pick your songs as well.

I believe the end of the month thing is for the BOGO caps.

Is it just me, or did the promotion end a couple of hours early? I went to bed six hours ago and it said there were about 17 hours left. Now I wake up and try to enter a few codes from caps I got and everything is grayed out.

Oh well. It was a great promotion. Too bad I didn't do better with it (0 for my last 6 and only got about 10 songs total). Hopefully they'll have promotions like this again that I can take advantage of.

I went and checked again... just to reiterate:

Each Daily Prize consists of one (1) Rock Band Downloadable Track per winner. Winner will be notified with a message on the Website that they have won a downloadable Rock Band track. Winner should follow the directions on the Website to redeem their prize. Winners will have until September 30, 2009 to select their game console/system and track, and track must be redeemed in winner's game console/system by December 31, 2009. ERV $1.99, per prize.

Agreed - great promotion. I downloaded a whole bunch of stuff that I never would have tried if I had been spending points on it. Hopefully we'll get some kind of promotion similar to it with Coke Zero. At least now I can ditch Pepsi again.

I've managed to avoid buying a rock band type game with the drums and all...what's the best one to buy now? Rock Band 2? That would allow me to GF the other Rock Band titles and pull the songs to my system?

Yes and you can GF RB 1 and pay 400 points/$5 to import the songs. You probably can't GF the AC/DC game or track packs because that was a 1 time use code and I would guess they've all been used for quite some time.

Thanks! was thinking about the beatles version but I'll just grab the RB2 and buy the beatles disc if I want it...not worth the Beatles cash.

That's the way to go. RB2 will keep you occupied for awhile, plus you have a lot of DLC options. Beatles is good, but obviously you have to be in the mood for the Beatles whenever you play it. With all the variety RB2 has, you can be in the mood for pretty much anything and find something that works.

Yeah, just about time I got the entire set (guitar, drums, mic), plus I have my Guitar Hero 2 wired guitar, so for 100 bucks getting RB2 isn't bad.

Any tips on the drumming sections where it's just a ton of notes on the same color all in a row? The slower ones I can get a beat down, but those fast ones I can never seem to get through without some mistakes...
