One song is obviously going to be censored.

Sounds more like their own game by how it's phrased in the article.

It could be something like "Progressive Rock Band Featuring Pink Floyd" or something like that.

Absolutely cannot wait for this. Peace Sells is a great, and maddening, album to play on there.

If you're wondering where Rock Band 3 is, a year and a half after Rock Band 2 and five months after the launch of The Beatles: Rock Band, it seems EA isn't sure it's going to get to publish it. During an investor conference call, EA execs revealed that the publisher's deal with Viacom (the company that owns MTV, Harmonix, Rock Band and maybe you as well) is only active through fiscal year 2010 (which ends March 31).

                  Yup.

I'm slowly losing interest in this game. It probably doesn't help that last night while I was playing the bass pedal that I bought a while back and had only used about 4-5 times broke. It's not like I am stomping on the thing with all of my might... I guess I need some super heavy duty one but don't want to pay $75 for a damn pedal.

I think the problem is there are only so many Artists Harmonix can get because certain groups charge a lot for there music and Harmonix doesn't want to pay it.

Likewise, though for me it's because I'm rather busy with other stuff, including writing and playing my own music.

For me personally in general, yes there are exceptions but in general the DLC has been crap for RBII.

It seemed with the original the DLC was much better. Now this is for my tastes, but now there's not much I want. And when I do, it's usually live so I pass.

I think the genre has peaked.

Rolling Stone says next week's DLC is Otis Redding.

I am not familiar with Redding's music, but at least it's a new artist.
