Don't get your hopes too high. I'm not sure what people are expecting here exactly. I keep trying to tell people it'll be like the community games. Anything like Sub Pop wants to do will be very, very rare. Might be some foreign labels or perhaps even a label like Epitah on board but don't expect Pink Floyd.

I did it about a year ago. It is not something I ever plan on doing ever again. It's just way too long. I recommend trying for it once, but not necessarily going after Bladder of Steel.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment

Oh and for the love of God, if you can't beat Visions, or some other song on whatever difficulty you're going to try on, don't bother. I'm amazed at the number of sob stories on the RB.com forums where people who can't do Visions try the ESL and then get pissed when they can't finish it.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment

I didn't know this, and got all the way up to Painkiller (the very last song) before I failed a song. My friends were laughing hysterically at me until we discovered that little but oh-so-critical design decision Harmonix made.
As for Visions, yeah that "song" nearly kicked my butt and I have no desire to play it ever again.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
So if I do a setlist (not trying to do any achievements or anything, just beating the setlist), do I have to do it all then and there, or can I quit at any time and finish it later?
Because I really don't want to do those huge 90 song setlists if I have to do it all in one sitting.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
I don't have the game in front of me, but I'm fairly certain that it only works that way in Challenge Mode and not Career Mode. If this is in fact true, the Endless Setlist is part of Career Mode, so one wouldn't be able to stop and save.
I could be wrong though, but this is my impression.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
So if I choose one of those setlists that's labeled like "Classic Rock" or something and it has one hundred songs, I have to play them all in one sitting? Or can I go to fifty songs, save my progress, back out and finish it two days later?
This is Challenge Mode I'm referring to, BTW.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
