      I gotta say, judging by the charts...the Night Ranger solos look like a blast to play, especially the one in Don't Tell Me You Love Me. That looks beastly.

        Those are live after all. Or re-recorded, but definitely not originals. The first two that is. Pretty cool but would rather have the originals. "Don't tell me you love me" is slower as well than on the original album.

          Ok so madcatz realeased that portable drum kit for Rock Band

          http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Rock-.../dp/B001B19BIO

          Which they sell at best buy for 29.99 but anyways, my question is has anyone tried using the module that comes with this kit to hook up an electric drum kit. I have the simmons sd7k and would love to use it for Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

          Anyone try this out yet? I would think it would work if I bought 1/4th inch to 1/8th inch adaptors for each trigger wire going into the module.

            I wish we had the album versions of the AC/DC songs, the solo in Back in Black just isn't as good in concert, plus some of the songs go on forever.

                  yeah I'm looking forward to getting all the new tracks today when they hit the PSN store. I think the live Nirvana stuff sounds good, but I've always been a fan of their live material.

                    Re: Rock Band 2

                    Cambridge, Mass. – Dec. 4, 2009 - Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that a three pack of songs from Green Day will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Wii™ on Dec. 15 and to PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on Dec. 17.

                    Green Day is one of the more than 390 bands currently available through the Rock Band platform. With more than 1,000 songs available, Rock Band is, without question, the industry leader in providing the best selection of interactive musical content, songs and artists.

                    Green Day will bring three more tracks from 21st Century Breakdown to the Rock Band Music Store as downloadable content. The three pack of songs will include, "Christian's Inferno," "Last of the American Girls," and "¡Viva La Gloria!". These tracks will be available for purchase as “Green Day Pack 02” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks on Wii. "Last of the American Girls" and "¡Viva La Gloria!" will also be available in the family-friendly LEGO® Rock Band Music Store.

                    Green Day has won critical acclaim and numerous accolades, including Grammy® Awards for Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot and Record of the Year for their smash hit "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." Earlier this year, Green Day released their eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown, on Warner Music Group’s Reprise Records and released “21 Guns,” “East Jesus Nowhere” and “Know Your Enemy” on the Rock Band platform. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as on the Rock, Active Rock and Alternative charts, fueled by the alternative radio No. 1 single “Know Your Enemy.” This past September, the band took home three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards for “21” Guns,” winning all three categories in which the clip was nominated: “Best Rock Video,” “Best Cinematography,” and “Best Direction.” Green Day performed Nov. 5 at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin. The band was nominated for three awards, “Best Live Act,” “Best Group” and “Best Rock,” and took home the award for “Best Rock.” They won an American Music Award in November for Favorite Alternative Rock Music Artist, and just received three Grammy Award Nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Rock Song. Green Day is currently touring Australia and New Zealand.

                    The following songs will be available as Green Day Pack 02:

                    * Christian's Inferno
                    * Last of the American Girls
                    * ¡Viva La Gloria!

                    Price:

                    $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track
                    $5.49, £2.49 UK, €3.99 EU (440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for “Green Day Pack 02”

                    ** Dates for Rock Band game tracks are tentative and subject to change. **

                    Keep in mind this is NOT part of the 12/8 DLC, but rather a sneak preview of the 12/15 DLC. Plan accordingly!

                        A big "yuck" for picking more Green Day songs off 21st Century Breakdown. There are so many good Green Day songs that would be fun to play and sing, but none of them are off this album. Come on HMX.

                          Pretty much. Absolutely sucks with how much material Green Day has for this game, and they keep picking stuff off their worst CD.

                            Let's see... I'm reading that there is Green Day, but even Ctrl + F couldn't find me any results containing the phrase "Basket Case".

                            I don't know what those songs are (haven't heard the album in its entirety), but they'll require a heavy listen and critiquing before any sort of purchase considerations ensue.
