I'm hurting right now and all I wanna do is go home and play some more. I'm hooked big.

I had one so far while rearranging my equipment, so I use quicksave quite often now.

I picked up the PC version of this game. haven't decided what type of character and/or weapons I want to use though. Warrior with sword/shield, 2 swords dual-wield, one-hand axe and sword dual-wield(if possible), or archer. also thought about being a rogue. guess I'll have to do multiple playthroughs.

I think this game just killed off Borderland's "Game of the Year" chances. I'm not sure I can think of another game that deserves that title more than this one.

You know they'll give it to MW:2 anyway. But I agree. I am gonna crack monkey this game big. The videos do this game no justice at all. I can't believe how sucked in I am after only a few hours.

I went with Dailish Warrior, I'm a duel wielding fool with some decent archery. I wanted to seem more elvish so although I have some good strength I wanted plenty of dexterity and the duel wielding seemed more typical of the elf.

Yeah Jistic, this game is off the freakin meat rack!! It has some very intense battles. I was fighting some orcs (I know they are darkspawn or whatever, but they will always be orcs to me) and Alistar was getting beat down, they literally had him on the ground (a great animation) and me (Dalish Rogue) came running with the bow blazing, saved him at the last minute. Great!

I do wish however, that the characters died more permanently, instead of getting up after every battle, it would make the atmoshere more final, or should I say it would make it more realistic to have to keep them alive or lose them.

It definitely killed Bordeland's chances of getting a second play-through from me anytime soon.

I have an extra copy of Dragon Age now for the 360. I got it on the PC version which is what I should have done in the first place. I think i'm going to go ahead and craigslist it for trade for Borderlands. Anyone know what the trade in for it is (DA)?

It's killed the chance I even play it through once any time soon. So far I'm around level 22 or so and at some second somewhat large city. I haven't turned it on since I started playing Origins, and I've no plans to bother any time soon.

The animations are crazy sick. When you switch from a light weapon to a heavy two handed weapon you can SEE it. The physics are totally different. AND the blows actually register on the target. Their bodies actaully show the impact. It's amazing.

                                Re: Dragon Age: Origins

I just picked this game up yesterday and it is the main reason I didn't cook dinner. I was on the fence because of the problems I was reading about on the console versions. I picked up the PS3 version and I have not noticed frame drop yet and I am at level 6.

Great game so far. For those of you wondering, to me it plays a lot like Jade Empire on the original xbox. I don't know if I made a mistake but I created a human rogue (that oddly looks a lot like President Obama) instead of a warrior. I am still figuring out the best way to do battle with him because I am using him like a tank.

6 different starting stories at around 40-70 hours each. Wow. I especially like the way the dialogue options are not as clear cut in this game. Somethings you choose what you think are right and positive and they aren't appreciated in the same way by the NPC. This game will keep me wrapped up for a while.
