Playing this now.

I love it. But OMG it is very hard. And I am up to the challenge. And damm it I will beat this game!

But I am very impressed and blown away I overlooked this title for so long. A real gem indeed.

I just got to soul level 30.

This game is the most difficult game to get into ever. Its just soo different and those little images they have in the inventory screen make no sense at first.

Its just soo easy to be lost in this game.

Without the demons souls wiki page i'd have given up on this game.

I'm using Royalty as a class and SL level 25 I think.

Finished level 1.1, 1.2 and 2.1...


Now i'm not sure if I wanna attack 3.1, 4.1 or go for 2.2 .

I suggest doing 4-1 and 4-2 now. You are definitely a high enough level to breeze through it. Usually I do 1-1, 4-1, 4-2, 2-1 in that order. World 4 helps tons at low levels for getting souls and the items found there. You can easily do world 4 if you got the hang of rolling to dodge.

Thanks Mike, Done Level 4 yesterday.

Was a pain in the *** but I got the hang of it and did it easily after 10-12 try lol...and the boss was so easy with soul arrow.

Was doing 4.2, killed the reaper with my bow...killed the black phantom to get the black stone and some magic sword, thanks to the coward who pushed me... I died when that thing with laser beam hit me and i fell off the bridger...I was pisssed. Tryed 2-3 more times but keep dying when thsoe freaking birds shot me while I attempt to kill the skeleton.

Next time i get to the laser shooter ill prolly shooot him from far with ym bow too.

I tried 3.1...but the crazy magician on this level killed me and I was too much of a coward to try it again.

Haha, ya I remember those magic guys in world 3. I believe that was the last world I did. I just didn't like the fact they killed me so quick with such a tiny area to move around, I couldn't dodge. I realized I had to wait til they turn around and then backstab them. Also, those ghost like things that shoot those beams, I don't think arrows hurt them much. I think they die much quicker through physical attacks. I'm not sure though, I haven't played in a long time.

Yeah, I finished the game yesterday. Toughest stage was 5.2 for me. Had a rough time doing it as it'S quite boring. Toughest boss is the maneater in 3.2 Dgizusse that boss is tough.

Game is very good. Wass very very tough at the start but got much easier later on when I was a good level and learned how to kill people etc...

Forgive this stupid question, but I need to know this so that I follow a good path to start my game.

Which world is 2,3,4,5. 5 has to be the one at the top. But, as you go up the stairs on the left is that 1 then 3 or 1 then 2?

I've only beaten the first boss, and am still learning the game, but I've gotten pretty far on the level I'm at and keep dying. I'm in the world up the stairs from world one, and I have gone quite a ways after starting up the lift. But, is there an easier level to do before the one I am on? I haven't even went to the other 3 places yet.

Also, is there a trick to shooting arrows? When I was doing it, it was stupidly hard an inaccurate. Like I couldn't aim at all.

How do you zoom? Sorry, I don't have the instruction booklet.

Worlds 1-5 go from left to right, so when someone says world 3 that's the one at the top of the steps in the middle.

You zoom with L1. All of the level are quite tough at soul level 12...I'll prolly do 1.2. There's only 1-2 tough spot on i.

I haven't played this in ages, damn. I might try it out again this weekend. I usually dont play RPGs on weekdays. Thats like a pet peeve of mine I guess.

Certain games I will only play if its a day off AND I dont have to work the next morning lol. So mostly weekends for RPGs. However, thats a tad difficult also depending on what the wife wants to do ya know.

Decided to give this another try the other day anit seemed a whole lot easier than the last time I tried. Actually got through 2.1 and 1.2 pretty easily.

But I think I screwed up he last time I played because I harvested the first boss soul because I didn't know any better.

Also I had been upgrading weapons and such rather than upping soul level... which I now regret because I see how powerful ranged magic is. And after staying alive in 3-1 for like an hour before falling through a hole way up at the top I shut it off again.

Would it be in my best interest to start over at this point to regain he phalanx soul for later in the game or does it not really matter? Also when or where do I find the people that give me stuff for the boss souls that I do have?
