Nothing brings more joy than dominating someone so much that they quit the match.

That may be true but i am usually one doing the quitting so it's not quite as much fun.

There's this thing about me that I have to finish as much as possible. I almost refuse to watch a movie again, read a book a second time or even watch repeats of a favorite television show.

To me, that's time I could be spending watching a movie I've never seen, reading a book I've never read or watching episodes of another television show.

It's the same with video games. I finished it once, now onto the next one.

I just ordered this off Amazon for $30.00..I had a 20 dollar credit for ordering MW2 so I thought I would use it on this. Have heard a lot of great things about this game. I never played UC1 will I be lost with the storyline?

I never played UC1 and I loved UC2. In fact, I think it's the GOAT.

I just got this game yesterday and wow it is amazing. I'm currently on chapter 4 I think its Urban Warfare. This game is awesome. At first I disliked the camera but it just took about an hour of getting use to.

I love the hand to hand combat. And a lot of times when the game goes to a cutscene I won't even realize it ends. Thats how good the graphics are in this game.

One thing that really stands out to me is the storyline and the voice acting. The voice acting is one of the best I've seen in a video game. My wife told me it felt like she was watching a movie. Everything is done well in this game. And I've only put in a couple hours so far!

I can't believe I've slept on this game for this long. lol.

Yeah, the voice acting is definitely the best I've heard in a game to date. Great job by Naughty Dog

Uncharted 1 is a must own for any PS3 owner. It isn't really needed to play Uncharted 2 but it explains more about Nate, Sully and Elena to get a better understanding of their back stories/relationships. Graphics and gameplay still hold up well today even after Uncharted 2.

Yup. My wife and son actually sat on the edge of their seats watching me play...oohing and ahhing the whole time. After playing some of the other GOTY candidates, this is still at the top of my list.

I just beat this game tonight and wow was definitely worth my $60. What a great game, best game of 2009 IMO and the best game I've played since Fallout 3. Terrific game everything was well done. I loved the story, the combat, the characters, the scenery, the voice acting, the music just everything.

I'm going to buy UC1 this week for cheap and I can't wait to play it.

This is better than the first one WHY?

I DLed the demo and assume I'm missing something.

I didn't like the demo for the first as all they did was hide behind cover and throw grenades then eventually get shot.

Now I get this demo and all they do is throw grenades and walk into range of getting shot in the face.

It looks nicer and the first part with the truck was cool but other than that I surely must be missing something from only trying the demo?

Never played the demo but the full game is definitely better than the first one in my opinion, especially the last half of the game.

You're missing more than "something". There isn't one single aspect of the first Uncharted that is better than Uncharted 2.

The second one was overly scripted and linear. Treasure hunting was a chore and frustrating. Vehicle boards in the first game. It felt too much like you were playing a movie rather than a video game. I think they went too far with that aspect in the second game.

There were a lot of people that liked UC2 better than UC1 but not everyone. I can think of myself and the Admiral as at least two guys in this thread that felt the first one was better.

You're supposed to give me 10 points. That's what I was asking. I only played the demo of the first game. I think the rental at the store got stolen anyway.
