Re: Mass Effect 2
Yup. You get to play what I think is the beginning of the game and another early part. It's a pretty good length of playing time too.
Also, you can set up your Shephard and the decisions you make in the demo will carry over to the retail version if you want to carry the demo save over.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I beat ME2 in the first 2 weeks and haven't picked it back up since. Mostly because I don't want to go through the mining process again.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
The reticle is really wide and moves extremely fast. The only problem with it going so fast is that you'll sometimes pass by a spot with a lot of minerals but it's much better than it was before the patch.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Same here, though not just because of the mining. I don't know what it is, but I haven't been able to get myself to play ME2 at all. Surprising considering the hours poured into 4 or 5 runs through ME1, when ME2 is that much better.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
With that said, ME2 is on my short list of awesome for 2010, and might be my GOTY. So if they have a more engaging story to go along with all the improvements ME2 brought along, ME3 will be damn near perfect IMO.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Finally, I got the game. Bought it a few hours ago from EB Games. About to get started playing now.
I messed up big time though because I grabbed a new copy and was ready to pay for it and the guy asked me, "Would you like to buy a used one instead?". So thinking to myself, "Yeah, I guess I'll save a couple of bucks" I bought the used copy instead. But now as I open up the case I just remembered buying used means I have to pay to get the Cerberus Network thing. ****!!
EDIT: On second thought, the Cerberus Network isn't neccessarily needed if I'm just starting the game, right? If not, I'm just gonna start a game up now and then go to EB tomorrow and ask to exchange for a new copy and pay the extra money for it.
Damn I hate this world of pre-order exclusives and being punished for buying used games.Last edited by BlueNGold; 06-22-2010, 04:03 AM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

The Cerberus Network gets you some free goodies. I forget what exactly, but buying the new copy does come with some pretty good benefits.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Anyways, just finished putting in close to 2 hours in this game. About half of it was stuff I already experienced in the demo but was still awesome. I'm hoping my Shephard gets to hook up with Miranda.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
