I love you, Mass Effect.

I just want to take the time to say that the last level of Mass Effect is still one of the best set pieces I've played in a game.

For me, once you hit Virmire, the game was just flat out stunning. The sets, the story, the gameplay, everything was just stunning. Virmire, Ilos, and then the final were awesome. I really hope they can duplicate that in ME 2.

Yes, the big reveal on Virmire set the stage and a standard for how you end games.

I just want to see what they did to the Mako. If there was any negatives to Mass Effect it was the Mako.

This is easily one of my most anticipated games.

I'm trying my hardest to beat this game for a second time (on a harder level) before Mass Effect 2 comes out. Looking forward to importing my guy into the sequal.

I'll be about a week or two into 2nd semester when this drops and I have a feeling I'm going to have fend off the urge to skip class and homework to make this game my life. I've easily sat down for 8 hours at a time and played Oblivion, Mass Effect, and Fallout 3 in the past and this will probably happen again with Mass Effect 2. This game has me more pumped than when all those others came out which is scary. Everything I've read so far about this game has done nothing but to get me more and more excited each day.

Anyone know if I dont go through Mass Effect 1 again on my new profile, if when I start up Mass Effect 2 will it ask me questions about stuff that hapended in Mass Effect 1?

Like did Wrex die? Who did you romance? What was your backstory? Did you let the creature live underground? Etc? That way I can still play like Im continueing from my old game without my older game being there.

All that they've said is that there is a canon ending for people who didn't play the first game or are starting over with a completely new character. You better just play through it again cause you're gonna miss out on a lot.

Yeah, that's why I'm going through it again. My other playthrough was on my old hard drive that got messed up a while back. Still I'm loving every second of it. Again

I'm doing it again myself. When I first popped it in again I was like, this is kind of boring to me.

But after 1 hour in the game picked right back up into the awesomeness I remember.

Now I can't put it down.

I just did another playthrough with my first character to make sure everything's set too. 145 hours and 54 minutes total for that file.

There's about 10 hours on my second file. I tried playing that one again and forgot how annoying "electronics too low" was.

Well that sucks about ME2......You would think they would give you options......

Guess Ill play through again. So whats the best in terms of character to do? I was a soldier in my other game but I didnt like him to well. Engineer or Biotics?
