after doing his loyalty mission he gets a new outfit that doesn't appear to have them. Taking people that have similar weapons and abilities isn't good. Garrus & Miranda works for Vangaurd but I'm not sure if it's the best.

It was pretty lame of them to make the supposeded best weapon in the game only available on hardcore difficulty+. I guess I can try it for one mission.

Yea..didn't realize they had the same abilities...not sure now, I think I might go with Arc...and I guess the professor...

And I hope that isn't true...although I will do a second run through I am sure...hardcore is hard enough as it is though. A lot harder than the one above normal or whatever was in ME.

Garrus = Armor Piercing Ammo(extra damage versus armor and undefended enemies)

Grunt = Fortification(an armor bonus, similar to barrier)

Jacob = Barrier(bonus to shields)

Legion = Geth Shield Bonus(I think it's pretty much the same as barrier)

Miranda = Slam(lifts enemy up, then slams them to the ground)

Mordin = Neural Shock(Cripples organic enemies)

Samara = Reave(similar to Warp, but better I believe)

Jack = Warp Ammo(good versus shields and health, also does extra damage on an enemy who is already being attacked by a biotic ability)

Tali = Energy Drain(drains enemy shield and improves your shields)

Thane = Shredder Ammo(bonus to unshielded, organic enemies)

Morinth = Dominate(acts like AI hack, but only works on organic enemies)

Zaeed = Inferno Grenade(fire grenade that is good versus armor)

Reave also has the benefit of healing you when used against Organic enemies and I think increasing your damage against them.

Beat the game and mentally debated the ending decision for awhile. I actually didn't do to many side missions. While in the last game I did them all, I actually felt like I needed to hurry the hell up for the lost.

Now I feel really bad about cheating on my space lover

If I get the ship enhancement for scars...will it also heal his? And did you guys know it was him when you got up there? I saw his blue suit and I knew it was him
edit: And now that I think of it..who should I hae in my squad? I know you can pretty much have whoever this time around..but what is the best balance? I am a vanguard in this case...I really like Garrus, dialogue and in ME1 for combat/biotic specialty. I thought that I would take him and Miranda. It seems pretty balanced.

For fellow vanguards out there, who are you guys rolling with for your team? For a while I was going with Zaeed and Miranda, but I just did a mission with Tali in place of Miranda and I loved the results. Having Tali's combat drone really gave me a nice three-pronged attack. I don't know, I'm going to try some different combinations on the next couple of missions.

I usually use Miranda. I like her Warp and Overload abilities. later on, Slam is useful too. the third party member I usually rotate depending on the mission. I usually don't bring Jacob, as he basically is a vanguard himself.

if the mission is likely to have mechs/robots/geth, I'll bring Tali.

my "main" group is me(Vanguard), Miranda, and ArchAngel. it's a pretty balanced party.

Mordin and Thane for the story missions but for uncharted world stuff and the side missions I just rotate people in.

He has Heavy Incinerate, which destroys shields and takes off a lot of health and Full Cryo Blast, which freezes everyone within a certain radius.

Mordin rules. He is easily the best character from this game. I only liked Samara's or Grunt's loyalty missions more.

Yup it's only on hardcore and insanity. You can just turn it on for that specific mission then go back to normal or whatever you're playing on. It's listed under the CE rifle so maybe it's not the best. Well it's the best besides the CE one at least.

I wasn't done getting my people or setting up the ones I already have.

Also forced into wearing a helmet for this mission. I didn't get to pick it so now my character looks like the pink Power Ranger. Zaeed's mask/helmet is awesome.

Time played is going to be different for everyone, I explore everything, get everyone, take my time. Im at 40 hours and havent done the IFF. Will leave it that vague for spoiler reasons.
