Same boat here. Too many games just sitting due to no time for me to play. Do I really want to drop another 60.00 and get limited play time?
I'm still at work right now and won't get out until 8"ish or so...

I still bought it . I pre-ordered in full 3 months ago but the closer it got here the more I regretted just waiting. Oh well, it'll have to collect dust for a month or two while I play some of these other backlogged titles I own, including beating the original ME again.

things I don't like: having to pick your armor and weapons loadouts at predetermined times, buying fuel for the Normandy, the Shockwave biotic power, using ammo

things I like: the graphics, the gameplay (seems more shooter-oriented), the environments, the Charge biotic power, recharging health and shields

Playing as a vanguard, I love the charge ability though its range is limited since I'm still low level. Now I need to focus on finding a shotgun and some ammo for it. I have the katana, but it only came with 15 rounds.

That's not true. I transferred all of my stuff to a new hard drive and just imported one of my characters.

old console with old hard drive to new console with new hard drive with all me1 game saves on a mem card would not work for me. I tried for 30 minutes. Only thing that worked for me was as described in my previous post where I swapped hard drives.

They really weren't joking when they said that they changed the uncharted worlds stuff, I'm on a mission now where I'm walking across the wreckage of a ship as it's on the edge of a cliff trying to find out why the ship crashed and whether anyone is still alive. The ship is teetering on the edge of the cliff and apparently can fall over.

That was intense. I didn't know if it was possible for it to fall off the cliff or not, I was so afraid of it happening i practically crawled across the wreck.

I am loving the story so far. I love not having the mako anymore. I thought it was well designed, but the missions for that sucked. The game is going great but I am restarting, default playthrough just doesn't feel right without my decisions carrying over.

Game is awesome, playing as a sentinel. Played this game for 7 hours straight and didn't even realize it LOL.

I looked at my play time and lets just say I am glad I go to work, makes my playtime not look as bad with a break.

BTW can you actually read Ascention and Revelation in Mass Effect? I seen the books on the citadel and was wondering.

I love the shockwave power, it will throw multiple guys up in the air if they are near each other.

I played for 12 hours then I realized it so I took a break, time kinda flies with ME LOL. As for the novels, no you just get a very simple summary.

I'm already over 21 hours! LOL ... I'm taking my time though, it's not like I'm anywhere near the end or anything. I still have crew to find and random missions to go on.

the way it's designed makes it so hard to walk away from because it's so cinematic. I put in disc two went I was prompted because I went to that asari trading planet. I wonder how disc-changing will be from now on? I still have to go back to old planets I've already been to and talk to people from old missions.

Well just took a good 2 1/2 break from the game and I think I am ready to fire this baby up again. Kind of funny considering the 1st Mass Effect didn't hold my attention at all and really annoyed me. This game however, entices me. I think it is the combination of awesome graphics and the fact it is more shooter then puzzle solving.

All the aliens running around kind of reminds me of Deep Space 9.

i think i'm near the end of the horizon mission and it's hard as heck...how did you guys approach the section near the end of it, when you have to turn on the defense system?

I just finished that and I had to use all of my heavy weapon ammo and then just make sure to move around a lot. Oh, and headshots as much as possible.
