Had the "pretend to be stranded" guy steal my horse, which was awesome.

However being able to whistle for my horse back a minute later was disappointing.

The codes are working. I just unlocked my warhorse. PS3.

Did it actually unlock where it's visible under DLC and/or in-game? I tried my golden guns one (XB360) and it said it unlocked but isn't showing up.

Hey guys I don't know much about the game but, I believe I seen a picture or video of a player as African American in a video.

Is it like GTA 4 where you just have your main character and then when you go online you can change your color to white, black, native american, etc?

Or is there nothing like that at all in this game not that it really matters because, I believe I'm going to get the game anyway?

Also what is the customization system like in this game? Is it very deep, moderately deep, or just weak as hell like GTA 4?

It unlocked and its visible under DLC. I had to sleep overnight before it showed up outside of my house. Maybe you have to select the golden guns?

Yeah, it's just the one guy for SP, but in MP you get several skins to choose from. There are about 5-7 from the beginning, but you can unlock several more under the various groupings (like miners, different gangs, etc).

Customization doesn't seem very deep. In SP you can change outfits and guns it seems and in MP you can change between those base templates, choose your horse (there is only a Donkey available at first) and choose your title (like "cowpoke" or "tenderfoot" etc...some are based on your XP achievements).

You unlock more stuff through completion of various challenges.

Did anyone do the Stranger mission about getting the deed from the old man? I think I experienced a massive glitch

Maybe, but they aren't even showing under my DLC. It's weird. I looked it up and apparently this has happened to several people. It's part of the whole server issues it seems. I guess it will just work when the kinks finally get straightened out. Oh well...no biggie right now.

Yeah I love open world games(can't get enough of them) and the map and deep gameplay has caught my attention. Kinda disappointed to hear customization isn't very deep though. Sounds like it might be a game worth getting but, I'm not big on westerns or games set so deep back in the past(expect Assassin's Creed series).

Damn you rockstar(customization wise).

That was the big advantage Saints Row 2 had over GTAIV. It's customization was great and hilarious.

Quick question - how do you skin something? I keep seeing people say they are skinning animals, how?

I did it and ended up killing him...not sure what your glitch was though...

You may need to progress the story a little bit. But all you have to do is press triangle or Y to over the dead animal.

Me too. I was hoping to rent it out today but my Blockbuster had no copies left of course. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

I wish trade in values weren't such a joke, otherwise I would trade in a couple games and just buy it.
