Found all the raccoons I needed up there. No skunk sightings yet but I did manage to kill 3 cougars in the span of 10 seconds. When I first got up there the horses and bighorn sheep just kept running in circles around me. Didn't know what was going on haha.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I ended up finding a ton of them at Stillwater Creek. Apparently skunks love water.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
What is the best place for cougars? I got had killed one with a knife near Fort Mercer and was about to kill another one when one blind sided me and it reset my count.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I waited around for about 20 minutes, went away, came back and there was a pack of five. Dead-eye'd all of them and completed the challenge. Proceeded to find at least 7 or so more after.
Like real hunting, just be patient. The boars will come.Comment

North of the railroad track that runs along the top side of the Great Plains. There are millions of them across the river bank.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I found plenty on the hill up to the north west (I believe, don't have it near me at the moment) of McFarlane's Ranch.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
You just have to pop them in the body twice with your revolver. It won't kill them and they'll turn cowardly and run away slowly. Then you just run them down and one slash will do it. Definitely the easiest way to complete that challenge. You can also block their attack with your knife, but I found that didn't always work.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yeah, that hill north of McFarlane's Ranch is always teeming with them after a couple minutes for me. Bait also helps, but you might have to set out a couple of them.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yeah that's where i'm looking (hill north of the Ranch) but not finding any. I just have to come back at a few different times to see if i can find them.
When it comes to wildlife do you guys find it is usually best to just sit there and let it come near you, drop bait's or camp or just ride around constantly? I guess like real hunting it just takes some luck.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Finished the game....
SpoilerWow... Anybody else feel discouraged to roam around now that you're playing as Jack? I'll probably get some trophies and then start the game up again as evil Marston, it's just not the same.
Oh and manly tears were in full effect for the ending
