So when do you get the $20 giftcard? Once the game ships? I'm going to use it to pick up Skate 2.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
You get the $20 card about 1-2 days after it ships. It just deposits in your account towards a future purchase.
Release date delivery is what it says, you will get the game on the day of release.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I was looking over the character bios and I'm more interested in Red Dead's characters and story than any previous Rockstar game. Not so say that I didn't enjoy GTA's story, just that this one grabs my attention.
Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare

Re: Red Dead Redemption
OMG! WOW!!!!
during our six hours of play (which could go up to 25% of the stage) we did not feel that there are limits to separate the three regions of Red Dead Redemption, something that makes us think that we will offer a degree of freedom never before seen in the genre.
in the words of Dan Houser: "This world is two times larger than the one presented in GTA: San Andreas."
Found it on N4G

Original Source
Pretty Impressive.
Also More info From the article
+ 3 Territories: New Austin, New Paradise, West Elizabeth (Not Revealed)
+ Dan Houser: "This world is two times larger than the one presented in GTA: San Andreas."
+ If a player fails a mission 3 or 4 times the game will give an option to skip that part of the mission and go directly to the next one.
+ Players can buy (snuff and chewing apples, etc.) or sell anything that they achieve hunting and gathering in the field (such as hawk feathers or feverfew plants).
+ Marston can go to movies (silent films)
+ John can also buy horses
+ WANTED indicator will turn red whenever players misbehave

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Thanks for the maps GearsX. I can't imagine exploring the whole terrain. I will most likely just get lost in MP trying to find people.
Now I am just waiting for justin.tv to break it wide open and start streaming gameplay. It's only a matter of time.
I'm still contemplating pre-ordering for the gold guns. I really hate the whole pre-order exclusive bonus things.Comment
